Have they made a regular Obi-Wan Kenobi from ANH (and corresponding gold saber) that are not the Collector's Society or Weathered pieces?

I would sujest to anyone that is picking up or has purchased that Curt Schiling/Albert Pujols 2 pack from TRU and still has the receipt that they run to their local Target store and if the store has reset they might be able to find the same set for a lot cheaper.

TRU - $19.99

Target - $4.24

That is not a typo. I purchased a set yesterday at Target for that price, and used my TRU receipt and returned it so I could save a few bucks.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Target DPCI Number Reboot?
« on: July 27, 2005, 07:32 AM »
Talking with the manager at my store they have taken some (not all) of the systems where you can type the DPCI #'s in and disabled that function. So unless you can find a figure and actually scan it, the system will tell you that the # doesn't work.

Why - Don't Know
Will it go back - Don't Know
Inconvenience - HUGE!!!

The best idea I have come up with to help in the searching of the new toys is to have someone post an exact copy of the bar code of the figures and then we can print it and use them at the machines.

Resetting Toys -

I have learned that here in the Twin Cities that MOST of the stores are to have their toy departments reset by Labor Day. I don't know if this is to be a nation wide situation, but I would venture to guess that it would be. So look for the toy depratments to change in the next 4 weeks.

I was fortunate enough to find all 3 of the latest Unleashed figures on the shelf at a Target on the 4th of July, but I have only seen Ventress one other time since then and that was the following day at the store I work at. I have a bad feeling that this most recent release and the next release of Unleashed are going to be as scarce as the Sing, IG-88 & Stormtrooper release. Since they are killing the 6" line of unleashed and going with the smaller figures.

Collector's Tips / Re: Displaying
« on: July 25, 2005, 08:40 AM »
If you go to the area where I have pictured some of my collection you will see an example of a display from Ikea (All the way at the bottom), and the display that I purchased from a local seller.

My Collection

Here is the link to the company that I purchased my display case from. Mind you that it cost me $600 two years ago. But it does the job I need it to do.

DoctorPadawan -

Being a Target employee I can say this...Sales Floor Associates are a bunch of DUMB ASSES!!!

The best way to avoid **** like this is to go to the Service Desk. The best part is that if you go there they can contact the back stock room and they might even bring you the figures you are looking for. I have done this at stores other than the one I work at and most of the time the back stock room has found what I am looking for.

My collecting of 3 3/4" figures has been seriously deminished. I only collect Original Triology figures and Jedi Knights. If it is a re-released figures (Most of the OTC line) I don't purchase it unless it is an army builder (Stormtoopers).

after watching ECW's One Night Stand on DVD I have to quote something from the show...

:o :o :oHOLY ****! :o :o :o

That is one of the best looking statues for Star Wars. If this is what they can do with Darth Maul, just imagine what they could do with Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Boushh, Luke, Han, Chewie or anyone else for that matter.

Hey buddy, you want some “stuff”?

5 bucks.

The grey car in this shot belongs to Jedijaybird here in MN.

Darthshader

If you come across another Boba Fett one and it is under $10 grab one for me. I would really like it. I would also get a Vader & Yoda one if you find those.

Someone at Hasbro must have been smiking the same **** that McFarlane is because the idea of going to 2" is just plain ****** in the head.

Thought running through people's mind at Hasbro...

" I know lets follow in the footsteps of Todd McFarlane and what they did with their toys."

Never mind the fact that it ranks right up there with the stupidest idea in the world, with letting the moron who was captaining the Valdez when it went aground and started spewing oil!!!

GOD DAMN I HATE HASBRO RIGHT NOW!!!

gee a 2" scale Yoda...and I shall call me Mini-Yoda!!!

2" scale line is the worst idea ever. There is still a bunch of cool figures that could be done for the Unleashed line.
