I am nervous that the Eagles may infact lose, but you know what I have something to celebrate this year unfortuantley you don't.

I'd rather be at home polishing a 2 year old Lombardi than setting myself up for another near miss.  We've also got the defending Stanley Cup champs - who went right through the Flyers to get there.

Do you hate the eagles because your teams doesn't even get close to the superbowl or do you not like the eagles because they have been to the cahmpionship game 3 times. Either way you come off petty(no less than me anyway)

No no, I hate the Eagles because while my Bucs were on their way to throttling them in their own stadium in the 2002 NFCC game, Eagle fans in the stands were asking Bucs WR Joe Jurevicous where his son was and why his son hadn't made it to the game.

His infant son, who had died days earlier.

It's not the team, it's the city and it's fans.  Hell I like Andy Reid and I like Donovan McNabb, but I'm not going to root for a team who needed a courthouse in their stadium to expedite the proseuction of a bunch of battery throwing knuckleheads.  Finally getting to the Superbowl is nice and all - but there's no way the Eagles will win it.  Which will make it all the more fun to watch.

Even though they won today, it doesn't dampen my fond memories of watching Ronde Barber's back as he ran 90+ yards for the TD a few years ago.  And it doesn't dampen my fond memories of the Bolts/Flyers series a year ago.

Lucky Eagles - they finally get past their own mediocrity largely due to the fact that the NFC was so completely weak this year and get the honor of being the Patriots whipping boys in Jacksonville.

It's nothing to get excited about.  It's just going to set Philly fans up for more disappointment.

Depends how fast they're coming.  I'd like to think I'd last awhile.

a)  Call or email Paypal directly and show them the email so they can verify that it's fake and take whatever appropriate action they can.

b)  Get that link out of the post if you don't want people clicking it - I almost did.

Can't possibly pass one of these guys up at a price like that - I'd been to the exact Walmart I just found these in 5 days ago and they had NOTHING.  Today they had two full cases of the ROTJ wave - just put out, and all 50% off.  It makes me wonder if other Walmarts in my area are getting them in.

Didn't know that utility was there - that helps a lot.

Thanks!

I found 4 today on clearance for $5.00 each.  Which puts me at 39.

Just noticed that I'm near the bottom in terms of number of games played.  Is that just because of the way the shchedule is working out?  Or am I doing something wrong?  I haven't been changing my roster up - should I be trying to get lots of guys to play each night or if I just leave my best 7 guys in will I, in the end, get the same number of games played as everyone else?

Went to my first basketball game last night - Mavs/Wizards - pretty fun, got to watch from a luxury box and see two guys on my team have a big night.

Fun stuff.

Okay - I'm in this year.  I've got all my reciepts and will add them up periodically.  Rough Estimate, off the top of my head, not including tax:

Animated Clone Wars figures $6.00 x 13 = $78.00
POTC Cantina Wave - $7.00 x 6 = $42.00
Clearance 12" VOTC - 2 x $7.24 = $14.48
Clearance Lego Millenium Falcon - 1 x $55.00 = $55.00
Clearance Lego Mini's - 2 x $1.73 = $3.46
Clearance Lego Mini's - 1 x $2.00 = $2.00
Clearance Lego Cantina Set - 1 x $10.00 = $10.00
Clearance Lego X-Wing - 1 x $10.00 = $10.00
Clearance Cloud Car Pilots - 6 x $2.00 = $12.00
Clearance Hoth Trooper - 1 x $1.18 = $1.18
Clearance VOTC Stormtroopers - 6 x $7.00 = $42.00
Clearance VOTC Stormtroopers (Walmart) - 4 x $5.00 = $20.00
Misc Clearance OTC - 15 x $2.00 = $30.00
Unleashed Aura Siing - 1 x $15.00 = $15.00
Sneak Preview Wave - 8 x $6.00 = $48.00
Darth Maul with Sith Speeder - 1 x $5.00 = $5.00
Darth Maul Deluxe (E1) - 1 x $0.50 = $0.50
Loose Action Fleet X-Wing - 1 x $1.00 = $1.00
Loose Action Fleet Misc - 3 x $3.00 = $9.00

Rough Total 3 weeks into the year:    $398.62

Also, if I just spent 85 dollars on shelving - specifically for my star wars collection, with another 75$ or so to go, does that count?

I don't get people who buy the iPod mini when you get 5 times the storage space for $50 more

Pretty neat stuff

Because it's 1/8 of an inch slimmer and is way more stylish.  Duh!

Yeah, but someone who wasn't in good shape might not have been able to fend the animal off.   :P

I bought every stormtrooper I saw.  They were here for a grand total of four days at retail and have not reappeared since.  Never mind clearance prices. :-\

I guess I just live in a good area for them... for every 3 I bought, I left 2 on the pegs - and I have 35.  I bought them over the course of probably 6 or 7 weeks and saw them quite regularly.

And Paul managed to find a similar amount in the same basic area.  They were pretty much everywhere.  Not Orn-Free-Taa-everywhere, but certainaly abundant.
