Watto's Junk Yard / Re: KBZ jokes on GNT at scum
« on: February 23, 2004, 04:53 PM »
I find it funny that he complins when it is his qoute in the sig line but, as far as I know doesn't do anything to those sig lines of others on the board that qoute other members.  I been in the WandP thread from time to time and have seen it there where both sides use each other's qoutes on their sig lines.  I can't find alot of it now but know a few people have qoutes about other members at the fourms there.  Once again we see that Greg(g) is god. ::)

Yep, because most of the people in WAP know how to take a joke.  Gregg just brings it down harder on himself with his constant whining and moderating...

I will say that a large part of our community was actually built on that fact alone :P

It's what has me here today.

Does he ever come around here?  Or does he avoid it because these posts aren't linked to his RS post count?

Well, as sure as the sun does shine, I just recieved this message from Gregg:

Kneel Before Zod,

Joke or no joke I don't wish to have what I said posted from that thread in your signature any longer, while not as bad as previous quotes used I don't wish to have what I posted used as signature fodder. I'd rather contact you first to change it rather then having your signature blocked altogether which I don't want to do. So if you could remove the quote that would be very appreciated.

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Signatures may not make fun of other forum members. Examples of this would include quoting a member, including something somebody said about a member, or linking to a forum thread or post that may not have been a members most proud moment.

-----------------

So the quote has been added to my signiture here - I hope that doesn't break any rules.

Nope, that's my good friend Danny, I don't have a bio in there anymore because I left the band to go study abroad about 6 months before the whole thing fell apart - if we get it back together, I'll more than likely be back in.

I'm not hiding my face GNT style or anything, I just really haven't gotten around to finding a picture I like enough to post for everyone to see.

We may start playing again at some point...who knows...

My take on Liv Tyler.

She's not the hottest thing in the world - but given her gene pool, it's an absolute miracle that she's as attractive as she is.

Special thanks to Henrik for keeping the thread/joke alive - the minute I posted that I knew GNT would bring down the Iron Fist of moderation as soon as he saw it....too bad the guy can't take a frickin' joke...

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Snow!
« on: January 23, 2004, 04:27 PM »
When I saw this thread, I was hoping it would be about the one and only 'informer.'

But since it isn't... here in Dallas we've had a few days where it's gotten down into the teens - but no snow yet.

Having grown up in florida and having just moved here - I'm hoping for some snow soon.

Absolutely Brilliant I do say.

Celebration III: Indianapolis / Re: Celebration 3 is heating up.
« on: January 16, 2004, 11:59 AM »
I've missed both of the previous Celebrations - and fully intend to make it to this one.  It's a 900 mile drive from here, but what the F.

Any advice on looking for lodging / meeting up with people / how much money to bring, etc.. etc.. etc.. for someone who hasn't been?

11 points is in the 10 through 20 points range
Possible future metrosexual? You're still masculine, but I will question it if you start wearing shirts with diagonal stripes.

I suppose I'm not a metrosexual, but the guy selling me my downtown loft most definitely is.

I picked up cantina sets a few months back for $2 each at walmarts... In my area they're already gone.

Walmarts around here basically have stuff from April 2004 and slightly later collecting dust...

TRU is the same

Target, unbelievably has nothing but the first wave of clone wars figures...
