I use GW paints a little but the best paints I founf are great for plastic's are Vallejo and Reaper Miniatures paints can't go wrong at all trust me ;D

Also to stop chipping that's if you want to platy with your figures use a dab of super glue on the joints it will stop it for sure.

Hi Fritz

Mate have to apologize firstly I have posted to some of your custom but for same strange reason I'ts got me beat how that the post have'nt come up

Death Star Gunner- again you know how much I like your dead troopers and this guy is no exception great work with the body looks more burnt and teh clothing is very well tattered, (THiS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T CLEAN YOUR WEAPONS CORRECTLY) ;D

Female Tie Pilot- I like this figure alot very well thought out in my opion and the paint apps are great and very nice idea on the lego helmet.

War Relic- Is a simle yet affective figure nice crisp clean paint apps and the idea of troopers 15- 20 yrs down the track finding him is great well done.

Scuba Trooper- Great concept I think the webbing is great but the breathing tanks on the helmet are excellent.

Sea Trooper 2.0 Original Trillogy Era - Now this OTC trooper concept I like a lot you can invision that he would look like this and again nice use of different body parts and eqiupment and the dead calamari niiiiiiice.

Ejected ARC Pilot 2.0 - With this figure I must say that it's heaps better then the first one the actually look about him suggests that he has been burnt and shredded in teh cockpit and the vaccum of space has frozen him 2 BIG THUMBS UP on this mate well done.

And looking forward to seeing how Imperial Hotties 5.0 & 6.0 turn out.

Gday hyouriittai

Firstly welcome to JD and hope you have a great stay here.

Now I'm liking the style of your troopers very much you can see there has beed a great deal of thought going into them but the great thing that I like is that you have'nt gone overboard with the little extra's.
Also you've done a great job with the paint apps very nicely weathered but not over doing it well done and hope to see more.

Hi Guys

stormtripper - Really appreciate the great feedabck and I know what you mean about just having the figures in a row (Boring) that's why I started doing the dio's.

Clone Hunter - Thanks for the kind words.

BrentS - Mate thanks for the feedback means alot.
As for the frayed look it was already on there same as the holster I just brought the detail out with the painting. I was thinking of the leds but decided not to for such a small dio.

Smartypants1635 - Thanks for the reply buddy I'm really glad you enjoyed them.

Darth Nirvana - Cheers mate your comments are always appreciated.

Jedi_Master_Ben - Appreciate the great feedback mate, I must be honest I did'nt think the Gonk droid was going to turn out this well I even amazed myself hehe.

Clone Commander - Thanks mate, Kalmer sounded like I good planet name so hay I went with it, I reallylike the DVD bases there a good size and I have about 6 left so mor dio's on the way.
And the helmets are glued down I used older heads from figures I had lying in the parts draw so I was able to keep the clone heads.

In Rem - Man really really appreciate the comments thanks heaps.

Hi Guys

Well here are those two dio's I mentioned I'm really enjoying doing these and I'm looking into doing some bigger projects as well, Well here they are LMK what you think.

Jawa and Gonk droid

The Jawa and Gonk Droid are both from Hasbro they have been repainted using Vallejo and Reaper Miniature paints the antenna is from the Bespin Luke figure and the base is from ML The Punisher Movie figure it has had a two part of wood glue and plaster of paris added to the base.
While still wet sand was added and left to dry, once dry it was painted using Vallejo paints.

Clone Wars  Battle of Kelmar  the 168th Legion
This is of no particular Legion it was something I just made up

This Diorama is just something I wanted to do as I had a few Troopers lying around the are from the Trooper evolution serious.
I have repainted them again using Vallejo and Reaper Miniature paints, The base is from an old DVD container and has plaster of paris and wood glue added to it.
Once dry I glued model railway sand and static grass to the base and once dry painted the whole base using the above paints.
The bush's are plastic fish tank plants cut to size and the shrubs are from woodland scenics both were glued to the base and then painted again using the above mentioned paints.

Hi M_P she turned out great I'm really impressed with how well the paint matched up to her face as for the sleeve for the arm I was thinking some pleather would be a great idea.

1-cut it out to length
2-You can buy cloth glue which will adhere great to pleather
3-slip it over the arm and glue in place were you need it
4- and you will still be able to move the arm around even with the pleather on it.

Gday mate and welocome aboard hope you have a good time here.

The most easiest way to make the head stay on without superglue or any putty is blu-tac-blob just insert some of it into the head and push it down onto the neck section.

Now that is a great looking bounty hunter the colours are really well done and not over bearing and the cloth cape is a good idea and the use of the blue guard is great I did'nt even think they had that much detail under their robes.
