Because I can't help myself. .....

And the greatest trophy in the world once again stays in the only country that can support it's sport.

How funny would it be if Tampa Bay had two cups since the last time Canada had won?

You might want to look at where the revenue keeping many of teams afloat in "the only country that can support it's sport" is coming from before uttering jackass nonsense like that.   ::)

Of course this is from a country who's elite military was so bright back in the 1990s and so bitter about a Canadian franchise being in the World Series, let alone winning it that they flew the Canadian flag upside down.

See?  It's easy to be an ass****.  Stay classy 'Merika.   :-*

And clearly you can't take a joke. It was meant as a friendly jab. I love to mess with my Canadian uncle about there being more teams in the US. Thankfully when someone puts down the US I can deal with it unlike you apparently. I'm going to keep my "stay .... Canada" to myself.

Oh good God. Ouch. I don't feel that bad though. If you have $7000 to spend on toys then you must be rich enough to not have $7000 mean much to you.

I don't think you can ever really put someone's legacy on one game. But, and I'm saying this with Ovechkin being my favorite non goalie of this generation, HE IS NOT A BIG GAME PLAYER. He has proven that many years once the playoffs role around. So to guarantee a win in the 7th game of a series you had control of and then lose doesn't help. The fact he scored their only goal helps, but overall another ding to his legacy in my opinion.

That being said, if Washington turns around and wins the cup next year, especially if he plays well, I could be singing another tune.

Glad to hear she seems to be recovering. Just to piggyback on the warning. Many years ago my cat ate some thread and same thing it started cutting his intestines. My mom who had no money still found away to pay for surgery. Anyway since then I've been a freak about anything thread like not being accessible to my pets.

I think Ovechkin's legacy is on the line tonight. Go Washington!

Adopted two "male" rats from a Pocket Pet rescue group recently. We have had many rats but it never crossed our minds to question what the rescue said. When putting them away recently I asked my wife, "Why doesn't this one have testicles? Why is it so fat?" We now have 11 babies.

That's a nice deal unless the paintjob sucks.

Looks good to me. I wouldn't have known it was custom if the guy hadn't mentioned it.

Not sure why someone had the urge to custom paint him immediately, but I picked up a C3PO (w/ dirty paint apps) off of Ebay. Cost me about 3/5 of what a non-custom painted one is going for.

Beautiful figure. No question this is nicer than Hasbro. But again, that would explain the price difference.

So cool! I a not a car person at all. I didn't own one until I owned "half" my wife's after we got married, BUT the vintage Cobras have always been a car to get me drooling. Awesome.

Don't know what it means and maybe it's old news but hts shows everything out of stock if you search "black series"

Jeff I think you are going to have to be the one to break the bad news to Craig Leipold and Mike Yeo that MN teams DO NOT win playoff series.

I wonder how many people's heads would have exploded in internet rage if Hasbro had decided to make their 6" figs the quality of the Japanese version and thus charged the same price.

I wonder why Hasbro's 12" stuff wasn't as good as Sideshow?
