I've thought it might be this too. Even if they read the PMs, the PMs were very cordial and nice, so if some douche bag got pissed I sent him a nice PM and reported me he can kiss my ass for now on.
As nice as they were, you can still get banned just for mentioning another site's name over at RS, regardless of which site it is. Hell, we all got banned because we had links to JediDefender in our signatures, or even less - used our JediDefender email accounts as our email accounts when signing up at RS.
So it doesn't matter how nice or cordial you're messages were, you broke one of the golden rules. No one mentions any other site outside of RS at RS. Automatic ban.
I realize that its against the rules, but its shady that some guy I PMed nicely got pissed and reported me.
Oh well, its water under the bridge as I've been reinstated. I was told that due to the outcry of me being banned that they have reconsidered. I really truly appreciate everyone who said something.

At what point does getting banned from Rebelscum turn from a badge of honor to a badge of shame?
For example, does getting banned multiple times equal more respect? Or is it that the first time you're banned, that's when you earn the highest amount of respect, and with each successive banning, the respect is diminished?
Just wondering.
Well if you are Greenday it is automatically diminished. I don't know though about if you are not GD...
I'll make a pie chart or some sort of bar graph.

I'm certainly going to check it out there, it's just my computer time has been minimal lately, so I've narrowed down how many places I go. Once again, great post Jesse. 
Its not so much as chosing RS over JD. No matter what, I'm staying at JD. There are certain aspects of JD I like, and certain aspects of RS I like. I've never felt a need to choose one over the other.

In MisterKenobi's defense, he made a thread about me on Rebelscum, even though I didn't ask him to. He can be a good guy sometimes. I know a lot of you have grudges or whatever with him, but life it too short to hold grudges on a toy forum.

I was banned from there during the JediDefender staff purge, but was reinstated by Dustin after he and Phillip acknowledged that I have been a longstanding Rebelscum member and have a clean record over there as far as their rules go.
Hopefully I'll be reinstated as well. I've been there over 3 and a half years, and have never had so much as a warning. Ever. To be permanently banned over something this petty is absurd.

I write PMs all the time. And I never delete them (over 400 currently listed). Am I going to be banned too??
But my PMs were inviting some members to another site. The thing that makes me mad is that the PMs I sent were very nice and I ended all with "take care!", and then someone goes and reports me to the staff.
This, coupled with the fact that my best friend was sent to Iraq, another friend's dad just died, and that school just started up again (and isn't off to a great start), this whole banning thing is very worrysome.

I sent out a couple PMs to people I thought might be interested in the new site, Wampa's Cave. I certaintly did not spam, just to a few people who might like the site. I was very cordial and I think that I've been nothing but productive and a good member at Rebelscum. If I was a troll, that I could understand. To be banned like this (not suspended, banned) without so much as a warning is definitely disapointing.

Did you get pain killers? When I had my wisdom teeth pulled, I go Lortabs. The prescribtion was supposed to last me two weeks, but of course I ran out in 5 days.
Here's a funny story: Since I had my teeth pulled, they put all this gauze and stuff in your mouth to stop the bleeding. Right after I got done with the operation, I was still ****** up and they said I couldn't drive or walk and tried to get me a wheelchair. I said I was fine, and they let me walk but my mom had to come pick me up.
Anyway, so we are driving home and my mom says she is going to drop me off at home then go to the grocery store, but I said that I was fine enough to go to the grocery so we went there first. So anyway I'm spun out on these drugs shambling around the grocery. I can't walk very well because my whole body is numb, and I've got blood coming out of my mouth and my cheeks are all puffed out due to the gauze. This little kid is in the aisle staring at me, so I go shambling down the aisle moaning "Brains.....BRAINS!!!" Needless to say, the kid ran off screaming.
I then went home and passed out watching Pee Wee's Playhouse.
