The Olsen twins. Everyone was saying only x days til their 18.  I just never saw the attraction.

Their oldest TV sister, on the other hand, I'd do in a heartbeat (now, not then)

Yeah exactly, they look like little trolls to me. Nothing the least bit attractive.

As for the oldest TV sister, Candace Cameron, ohhh yeah so doable, even then (I'm about the same age as her so I can say that back then I wanted her :) ). Can't forget Lori Loughlin on that show either....

Newest album from Chevelle. Pretty good. I don't think it's as good as the last one, but this one is growing on me.

Oh man I can't stand Chevelle. Being their homegrown boys, they get a lot of airtime here in Chicago, but they sound so generic and annoying. I saw them 4 or 5 years ago opening up for Local H as part of a music fest and they seemed to be ok, doing some unique stuff with a keyboard, but everything I've heard since then has been bad to me. Eh to each his own...

Well Jesse as I told you the other night, just be thankful that your house wasn't one of those washed away. And whenever the P's piss you off, just remind them of how they left you to die in a hurricane, that's pure guilt.  ;D

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Amazon.com

I've ordered DVD's several times from Amazon and the prices are pretty competitive especially on new items and often delivery is free. I did have a problem with my most recent order though, not a big deal, but it as the first time I ordered a DVD boxset that was shipped by itself. As such the package they used wasn't a box, but more like a shipping case that caused a bit of damage to the boxset packaging. Nothing major and I'm not concerned about it, but keep that in mind if you are looking for perfectly conditioned boxsets.

Just read it on the elevator at the office and confirmed it on ESPN.com, the NHL has officially announced that it will lockout players from the beginning of training camp on Thursday. Full details at: http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=1882150

Well there it goes, the owners have gone and ****** things up. Not that the players are innocent in all this, but damn the greatest sport on earth stopped for the 2nd time in a decade...

Last I heard Indy 4 was canned.

Not canned, indefinitely delayed. Spielberg has several movies he's working on in the next couple of years, Lucas is still working on ROTS, and I believe Ford will have a couple of movies he's starring in the next year or so. The problem is getting all 3 of them available at once to work on Indy 4. But then again that seems to have been the problem for the last decade.

Ok this also may be stupid, but can't you just open the glass doors on the display cases to take the pics?

I wonder if he is going to have any future projects besides Indy 4. Really after the OT and the Ewok Movies and Indy 3 I can only name two other movies he did Howard the Duck and Willow which weren't exactly box office hits, though they are cult classics. So what could he possibly have up his sleeve? Perhaps the answer to that will determine if there are any more SW movies.

Dave,

If part of the problem you're having is flash from the camera, you could try using a macro setting on your camera to have it determine the amount of lighting it gives the photo. This is different from just setting the flash off, as the picture there will most likely just turn out dark. If you don't know how to use the macro settings on your camera, consult your manual. :)

good luck!

And don't forget the 30th Anniversary DVD Commemorative Box Set, either.

With all 6 movies in it, plus 2 bonus dvd's for the low low price of $219.99.... Yet we'll buy it up, man we're stupid!!

Team Canada wins the world cup and the hockey world comes to a crashing halt.  Just watched the game and pleased to see the HNIC logo, probably the only time I'll see it this year.

2nd intermission featured a head-head interview with representation from the players and the owners ::)  It is going to be a very long year without hockey.  The rep for the players said we're prepared to shut down this league for a very long time :o :-\  Not sure they're quite clear on who is shutting whom down, but the point is the same.  No need for a hockey draft anytime soon :'(

Congrats to Team Canada, Team USA just didn't have it this year which is a shame. A USA/Canada final woulda been sweet.

I don't think that the league owners realize how much a lockout will hurt the league, there's going to be several teams which will be on the edge of closing down permanently, which just shrinks potential revenue for the league in general. I'm beginning to think they're letting a guy like Bill Wirtz (Blackhawks owner) tell them what to do. He doesn't care if there is no NHL season, he makes more money in the liquor distribution business and real estate, so a small loss of money from the already fledgling Hawks doesn't matter to him.

Well until ol' Uncle George changes his mind AGAIN....

From 411mania.com...

During an interview, George Lucas squashed rumors that Star Wars sequels were in the works. Lucas says, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will be the last Star Wars movie.

"This was never planned as a nine-episode work," Lucas said. "The media [pounced when] I made an offhand comment, 'It might be fun to come back when everyone's 80 and do another one of these.' But I never had any intention of doing that."

The original Star Wars was only three films, and that was what it was meant to be," he said. "After a lot of pondering and thought, I went back to do the back story, but that pretty much tells the story. Episode six is the end. There isn't any more to it."

Revenge of the Sith may not recieve the PG rating, the other films in the series recieved. Lucas claims it is because the film is very dark and intense, making it hard to stick to a PG rating.
