Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Official Movie Thread

Watched "The King's Speech" this weekend. Very good, but if that was really the best movie from last year then that is sad for last year.

Those last two posts are excellent. I will never be out. I love SW too much, but for me now it's either the store I am near happens to stock (whether it's near my house or if I'm out and about) or if a store somewhat close is reported to have something new stocked then I will buy it. But the fun days or running around and having to have everything right away are long gone.

So if I miss out on something because of it. Oh well

Anyone have any thoughts on MLB adding another wild card team next year? Sounds like it's a done deal.

My first thought is NO. But it would make the division winner have a much bigger advantage over the wild card team than the system currently does so I like that.

I heard there was a rumor that Hasbro still is making Star Wars toys. Not sure if it's confirmed though.

Since the Wild didn't make the playoffs again I will once again be rooting for the Canada-cup drought to reach 18 years. Go U.S.

Just found the Barc Speeder w/ Jesse set at my local MN Target. That wasn't even on my radar with how little I've heard about people finding it.

I am just ignoring this for now (to keep my head from exploding). I'm sure each side has good arguments for their side. I don't care. You rich a$&h*$es make enough money. They better work it out and have at least a 14 game season.

I had no idea recent books could sell for so much. Glad I bought it when it came out in book stores originally.

Can you block me from being able to read this thread?  ;)

I don't know if I have the energy to stick up for EU stuff this much.

He's number two in almost every career WR statistical category to Rice. Or was when he retired, but is still close with all timers only passing him.

How was he a #2 WR? For the Vikings?

I may have misunderstood what you said.

It's a joke. I get angry every year at this time over it. There is zero logic. I think it's 100% because he wasn't liked by the people who make the decision. To me it makes the NFL look bad by not having him in their HOF.

Three "people" that apparently are all that matter to the force? Light person dead so, oh now we know why Anakin turns into Vader. But otherwise know one else knows about these people or cares if they do.

When does Luke go to his force planet and defeat the darkside person so he can defeat the Emperor and turn Vader back?

This story is just too out there (and I love me my EU stuff).

Who is Nom Anor ???

An excellent EU character. If you hate EU then you won't care, but I don't hate EU and loved his character.

I don't hate EU, I just don't bother following it much at all.  I do think it can be a pretty dicey proposition for a Hasbro toy release though (yes, even moreso than a Willrow Hood type of release) simply because I think a lot of fans are out there like me that don't have a clue or follow EU at all.  I readily acknowledge there are a lot of hardcore and dedicated EU fans but I think they'd be a subset of what Hasbro views as collectors and we all know how much they aim their stuff at collectors.  So I see it as a subset of a subset and that second subset gets some love, but not as much as the kiddos.

I agree that Hasbro would lose big if they did this a lot. But how often do we get an acutal EU fig? Using the definition that CW isn't EU and especially OT isn't EU. So every once in a while isn't gonna kill anyone. I just think some of the outrage that people have is humerous. I have to poke a little jab in at them. Let me have my figure and then I'll wait a while for the next one to come.

I love a great upgrade to Han or Luke, but I also like to add a new character to the collection here and there
