You mentioned going "digital".  Has anyone here really done that?  Personally, I don't have an iPad (or similar device) but if we ever got one, I would probably consider it.  Much like collecting, space is really an issue with storing all these comics, and it is only going to get worse.  I could see switching to digital for a lot of stuff, and probably still get my absolute favorites in "paper" form still.  I'd still prefer having the actual comic I think, but I could see the advantages of digital for sure.

I've done it.  Now admittedly I don't buy near as many titles as you guys.

But I have not bought a paper comic of GI Joe since IDW went digital. I got the Dark Horse App and the DC App as well but have not filled them up yet.
I have them on my iPad and it is great.

I was never a bag and board type though, I bought them to read and would end up just tossing them after a while.

They need to watch out for us doing our own mock interviews.

Well if the 3-D craze takes off with TPM in February, aren't we looking at 5 more years at least of Movie Support?

Local guy got his today.

Mine is still DOA.  So I think I have missed the boat.

Oh and I lost the bet, he did indeed get the set.  In the Boxed Set Shipping box even.

Ok, I got my press pass.

What that means for the guys in the NYC area or that are attending the show?  A JD.com get together of some sort with at the minimum the site buying the first round, maybe dinner.  I'll need one of our "locals" to give us ideas.

What that means for the guys not in the NYC area wanting coverage?  Sadly it is me and not one of the other guys with some photography training....so grainy pictures of stuff I like or find funny.

True Heroes I believe is the name.

Their western stuff makes me even more sad that the Dusty Trails Toys Western Line never saw the light of day.

Did anybody else see the C-130?  It is undersized (obviously) but a transport plane just the same.

It is over on Hisstank.com but I dont know if it was linked from somewhere else.

Seems like a good sized group is going and alot of you guys have "Business" there.

If we can get a headcount (and feel free to bring  your "Plus 1"), I will have either a happy hour or dinner arranged if there is interest.

Heck even if JD.com buys the first Round, it would be worth it.

Anybody interested in just the Sith figures or want to sell their troops from this pack, please let me know. I want to army build the troopers.

I just want the Human guy, so YES very interested in that.   I am going to end up with at least 3 of the guy, so you could have a platoon easily.   Somebody is going to have to call dibs on the Day-Glo Rasberry Icee Female Jedi.

I have not, but heard from another local guy that his "cancelled" order was "Un-cancelled", but the only way he knew that was he got a shipping notice.

We have a wager that he is going to either get an empty box or some Littlest Pet Shops.

So the drama continues.  Mine still show cancelled and the "pending" charges on the card are now gone.

But my Indiana Jones set is on "Back Order".

Guys all good points.  Well mostly just Jesse's.

We love having you here to talk toys and stuff, but take the slap fight and nipple twist contest and any aftermath back to the otheR site.

Heck I'd rather you go back to whining about how HTS sucks and they are trying to kill the line by making an exclusive....exclusive.

The most iconic Character of the PT is still more "Fanfic" the most obscure 2 frames of time OT Character for me, so I agree.

But Sadly that Fanfic was written by George Lucas so he wins....

Yeah I had my stuff in there as well.

No big, just pissed i didn't score the extras for the giveaway.

There is some hope.  My credit card got tagged, although my email says cancelled.
