You and I have different definitions for "cheap".  :P

The bad part of overseas sellers being aware of certain figures' after market value. Otherwise, those would be like under $5. Probably have  storage crates full of them.

I've already decided that I'm going to peel off all the character debut stickers at the store and stick them on Darth Maul.

That's committing fraud!  :P

"I thought I was getting a debut character, but it wasn't! What's Hasbro gonna do about this?  :'( "

That would be "Commander, tear this ship apart until you find those plans, and bring me the passengers...I want them alive!"

Again "commander". Is it any wonder Kenner called them Imperial commander, AT-AT Commander (even though that guy had an onscreen name and rank), Rebel Commander and the inaccurate Star Destroyer Commander?

The AT-RT seems the more popular of the two, though I've seen them both in the past week.

So, really the after the fact ranks  are what's wrong, like most EU stuff.  ;) No one considered the dialouge exchange, that an admiral would be telling a general that the general's starfleet is at risk.

Yes, "commander" absolutely a liberally used term...one of the silly things...like that there seems to no ranks between captain and general in the Rebel Alliance, (there are, but none used onscreen) and the Alliance gives out general titles like they were party favors.

Picked up a CW blue/gray AAT at Wal-Mart for $12.40.

They had Ahsoka's Starfighter...is that hard to find? I couldn't find any on ebay, which is strange.

Still can't see much of the supposed new cockpit for the AAT on the box photo.

Something I noticed a few times recently.

Why does Admiral Motti call General Tagge "Commander"?

"Dangerous to your starfleet, Commander, not to this battle station!"

He's a general, and generals wouldn't seem to command fleets...or would they in the SW universe...General Calrissian's first(?) act is to pilot a ship in fleet engagement.

Or did the ranks come after the movie was filmed?

Be sure to watch Donny and Marie Osmond Star Wars bit, too. Chris Kristofferson is in it!

I was already looking at just a handful of figures I was gonna get, if I can find them. The increase puts some of those in the "not sure" category, such as the deleted scenes bunch.

I'm still down for Evazan, Death Star Trooper and Kithaba. But I'd even try to get them cheaper off ebay if I can.

B-Wings were never that popular, though. Barely in the film they appear in. The TRU ones went on clearance years ago, I'm surprised they made a vintage boxed version.

I wonder how long it will remain empty for before new stuff, or even old restock shows up.

Until December 21, 2012.  :P

Was over in Jackson, MI, Wal-Mart was a bust for any good clearance, but I found Rebel Fleet Trooper there (and at TRU) and finally got one, having only seen it once before IIRC (when I was feeling broke/cheap). (I'm 6 months behind everyone...)

Best likeness of Henry Fonda in 3 3/4" scale.

The ankle belt was a nice idea but doesn't seem to attach solidly enough. Can't quite do the only pose the POTJ Fleet Trooper can do (two-handed shooting pose), probably because they made the vest part of the torso.

It's a good figure, though.  I don't think I'd buy another one at full price, unless they made a new head. Of course, I'm not sure there's anything I'd buy two of at full price anymore.

Finally got a Fett order form,  from online pictures, I noticed the Episode 1 wave doesn't advertize the offer.

I've seen it 4 times and passed it up. Not sure I like the droid fighters enough to get it.

I got Phantom Menace and Empire Strikes Back Blu-ray packs for $12.40 each. The only two figures I already had out of either of them were snowspeeder Luke and Snowtrooper.

Battle droid 2-pack, Snow trooper, Death Star Trooper $3.40 each.

Great thing is 1 out of the 4 wal-marts I went even have the figures marked at the current prices, another had a tag for Legends, but not the other clearance stuff. So a lot more stuff out there since most folks are ignorant to it.

Oh, saw a POTF2 Yoda at one store (one of those returns without a receipt?). For kicks I scanned him...said SEE ASSOCIATE.  :P
