I hope we get the new Battle Droids in this pack.

The way things are going they'll probably use the mold from the Theed Generator playset.

Considering they always target the kids, they downplay the toys based on a weekly cartoon, in favor of a 12 year old movie.

There's also some confusion,  it was heard there'd be 19 CW figures in 2012. 19 new or 19 total, including repacks?

I didn't realize that not only would they add new action feature figures, but they'd DOWNGRADE previous Legends offerings by going to worse older versions.

Lets see, I might get a repacked 30th Super Battle Droid to boost my army, but I'd never pay any real money for a ROTS one. I'm doubting that's a place holder now.

The Jet Pack Clone trooper...a mold that should've been retired permenantly. But hey, it's like getting a ROTS deluxe for only $8!  :P

For future offerings, they'll bring out hunch back ROTJ Luke and screaming Mace Windu (or save that for AOTC' 3D).

These aren't for us, they are for the kids...of 6 to 8 years ago.  ::)

Also, I really, really don't care what kids want. At all. Just saying.

NOMAD DROIDS was fluff but was better than the previous one.  The pit droids were amusing.

In two weeks, part one of a 4 parter with the Not-Dexter Jettster Jedi...yikes, 4 parts is a good chunk of a 22 episode season.

A new Vader....looong overdue.

Actually, I hear this one will not have a removable helmet. Good.

Panel photos are online.

Looks like movie heroes will be worse than Legends in terms of bad repacks. The ROTS Super Battle Droid...really? (Hopefully a stock photo, like the CW Battle Droid shown).  A Maul that's either new or the Saga Sith training one recolored/retooled. If the photos are accurate, lots of action feature molds that we never wanted to see again.  :P

Some new molds besides Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan...but are they very articulated? Doesn't look like it.

AAT, Sith Infiltrator, Naboo Fighter (Still in Starfighter asst)...no surprises...though the AAT is said to be new. Another Fighter Tank repaint for some reason.

Scant few CW additions through early spring...not surprising. Commando Boss and Phase 2 Rex.

Movie Battle packs are as bad as thought (they dug out the Saga Bespin Escape Chewie). CW one has Cut-Up in training gear, bomb squad clone and Hardcase.

Realistic CW seasons 1-3 1/2 Anakin. Meh.

Vintage boxed V-19....uh...why vintage box an EU item?  ???

Cracken was demoted to Colonel.

Why do the Dewback and droid fighter say 2 of 2 and 1 of 2? Exclusives?

The under the cloth Battle Droids has a game stand...hopefully an Episode 1 battle droid 2-pack is coming. If it's not a two-pack...then  >:(

Looks like Cody has the same gear as the new Rex, but with a Phase 2 helmet.

Cardbacks promoting the battle card game show CW Magna Guard among the mixed movie hero/CW figures, maybe they are bringing it back.

THe Maul on Sith speeder...the one in the Legacy battle pack that TRU can't get rid of even with the occassional $13 sale.  :P

Hasbro still thinks some the 1999 molds hold up well. I do, too...which is why there's no need to buy them again.  ;)

I saw the Geonosis Battle Pack box at Galactic hunter...looks like more terrible molds return! On that box there's a small image for the Rebel Heroes one with what looks like the 2006 Han Solo....yes, the COMM-TECH mold returns!  ::)

The 3D glasses part is a brilliant marketing move, if you have them on, it almost makes this junk look good. (Nothing can make the packaging look good.)

Some Republic Clone Trooper set with what looks like the bomb squad clone, and 2 others, not sure its Clone Wars or not.

The display 501st trooper has a super sized helmet...hope that's not the final product.

I forget they were even making Nom Anor.

Doesn't having Maul around violate the Sith rule of two? Assuming Palpatine is ignorant of Maul's survival, can or cannot Palpatine sense when someone is strong in the darkside? He sure decided it was time to off Ventress. Though, he was unaware she survived (at least until Dooku knew). Hmmm...

Maybe the little figures tie into that Superhero Squad type cartoon they are making.

Death Star Trooper...nice. No wonder they drug out the current mold twice this year, last milking of it. Something to look forward to...when it's actually released...this time next year.   :P

Is there another new kiddie line? How many do they need?

I blame the EU for all of this. (It started with the Emperor coming back in Dark Empire...NO ONE REMIND LUCAS OF THAT...)

All we need is for a post ROTS resurrection of Grievous and we can right off anything that Obi-Wan ever did. Failed to Maul, failed to kill Anakin, failed to stop Luke from getting maimed by Vader, EVEN IN DEATH YOU FAIL, KENOBI.  (Or at least, from a certain point of  view).

DROIDS THE LOST EPISODES....R2-D2 and C-3PO meet Ents and suffer racist clones.

While not bad per se, it didn't do much for me. "Oh, great, it's gonna be one of those episodes..." er..."planets".

5 episodes in the season and no Obi-Wan...

Through October 15th TRU's clearance items ending in 0 or 8 are an additional 25% off...the Evolutions set scanned at $11.23, IIRC. May be a good price for costum fodder.
