I would have gone to a different college to play baseball.  Pro teams were looking at me and because my coach and I didn't get along, he didn't promote me to scouts and I ended up leaving the team when 15 games into the season he told me in a closed door meeting that I wasn't going to play another inning the rest of the season.    The guy took the fun out of the game for me and cost me a chance at living out my childhood dream.  It hurt even more when 6 months down the road a buddy of mine was approached by a scout from the Braves during a summer ball tournament who asked him, "So whatever happened to Jason Moore?"  

We finally got more Galactic Heroes in last night but it was the Darth Maul wave.  Amazing that it was nearly a month before we got more but all the Targets out here and in TN were blown on these too.  Of all the SW items we carry, that is the one item we get more of than any other. 

As for the new sets, I'm stoked, even though I buy these for my nephew.  I hope they do a case breakdown like this:

As soon as I saw this thread I knew you'd be waiting for me to reply, lol.  I confess.  I puked in TN on the highway early last Friday morning coming back from partying with Jamie and the TN crew (after we saw my Wings beat the Preds.)  In my defense, I only ate once that day and we were mixing beer and hard alcohol big time at the bar. 

But that's just it Brent.  How in any way does it diminsh what Jeff did?  But in the same respect, how is it fun for anyone else knowing that 1 guy dominated all season and wrapped up the league title last calendar year?  I've played fantasy sports for a long time and people always bale when someone is that far ahead.  The fun is gone and isn't it supposed to be fun?  I'm a huge proponent of playoffs (especially in college football, but that's another matter) and I think most real sports fans here are in favor of it because it means any team can win.  Wouldn't you rather see the teams in your league fighting for a playoff spot instead of fighting to see who gets to proclaim their team #5??  Honestly, I won't do a points league again.  I really enjoyed being in a league with you guys, but every JD league I've done has had issue and it stems from being points based leagues.  There's no fair way to run it.  H2H is the only way to make it even and fun and if everyone decides to keep it at a points league, I'm gonna bow out.

So obviously next season is quite a ways off, but Jamie and I were talking last week about how we really need to get away from this points-based scoring and into a H2H league.  There is no excitement in our league right now.  A few of us are fighting it out for 2-4 but the league champ was decided so long ago that it really took the fun out of it for me.  Anyone else feel that way?

I have the 1st one but I think I'm going w/ the Gentle Giant one this time around.
