There is definitely some connection between Melisandre and Jon that I think will be important later (if he survives the stabbing process, and I believe he will).  Melisandre needs royal blood to do some of her spells, which is shown when she leeches blood off of Edric Storm to kill three of the false kings and that might be why she gets close to Jon.

Maybe after this episode people (the ones that stick around) will understand that no one is safe.  Perhaps GoT should borrow a phrase from an 80s movie to give this impression:  "There can be only one."

I just love how everyone is blaming HBO for this.  Umm, redirect your hate towards George R R Martin if you don't like it.  But come on, you had to see something bad was going to happen due to the breaking of honor... and who better to exploit that?

I just hope that Hasbro doesn't shoot their feet off right out of the gate with this line.  If this is hard to get then people who want to collect the line might be turned off by this if they can't get one especially since this probably is the first figure to be released in the line.
