They make the least needed Sidious upgrade.

Pit droid bonus with Quadrinaros and Rats but we are still getting a single pack Battle Droid.  :( Not surprised. Might ruin the VOTC asthetics to put two in there.

Happy to see a new Nemoidian.

There's some figures I probably won't be seeing. 3 Wal-Marts near me. How many carried the AT-ST? None. One got the Dewback. One had Jabba, briefly.

Cantina Band tins, none. First and second comic pack waves. NONE. Jabba band sets. NONE. I am Your Father's Day set. Nada (not that I wanted that one).

Biggest toy retailer in the USA, but their distribution is horrid.

Vague info about Episode 1 figures and light-up features

I've got a bad feeling about this....

Someone on another board speculated one reason for the retooling is so the X-Wing will fit in a starfighter assortment sized box (disassembled). It also explain why they added a launching torpedo gimmick. That would be neat if the X-Wing could return to regular retail. Lots of rebel pilot figures made, but not so many fighters, anything post-2000 has been exclusives that included pilots...well until this year!

Female Mando, Dengar and anthropromorphic shark man. Seems like the show has more recurring baddies than it can use, actually. Especially when 3 episode long arcs eat away at the 22 episode seasons.

Though, I doubt shark dude will be recurring.

Dengar...there's a make or break character. Will they make him, the least cool of the classic six ESB hunters, more appealling...or will we see some teen Dengar loser?

Lux Interiour as a Ahsoka's love interest. A dead rocker? Wrong guy.  ;)

It's better they don't reveal too much. Because we get these previews and wait 6 months for some episodes to air, having been partially spoiled already. What should be new is old news.

Folks at the 'Scum are saying that new X-Wing looks smaller/shorter than the previous mold.

I'm not sure.

Yeah, I had to LOL at the placard for Savage Oppress: "Available: NOW"

Sure it is. In Bizarro-world!

Where figures still cost $5 and the Tonnika Sisters were made in 2000. Also, the prequels were good.  ;)

Hard to tell too much, looks like a kid-safe version of the fighter. Multiple seating?

It's the Mandalorian shuttle from THE CLONE WARS.

X-Wing has been altered a bit. Vader's TIE seems to have not been (no removable cockpit seat), and that sure looks like a Saga 2006 Vader included in the set.  ::) I suppose no one is buying it for the figure.

I recently got a Vader TIE at a yard sale for $2. It was missing its missiles...maybe I should get this set for the missiles.  :P

(Combine that with fact you use sub-standard plastic for the helmet and you end up with the FIRST peg warming army builder)

Someone forgot about the Nemoidian Soldier from ROTS and the Naboo Trooper from 2006's Saga collection.  Actually, over the years some Legends releases, including stormtroopers, scout troopers and clone trooper have pegwarmed, though, those were rereleases.

The time TRU clearances anything is usually "waaay past anyone giving a damn". They hung onto Trek and Terminator Salvation stuff longer than anyone, and still have the stuff lingering at clearance.

....although it irks me that they don't actually refer to him by name on the package.

I wonder if it's not to save on trademarking.

Maybe it's to subliminally urge people to squad build him since he's given a generic designation.  :P

Maybe, but at $13 per figure (I assume, maybe it's $15 now)...I won't get him at all unless they do a freebie promotion like the last TRU exclusives (Though, I never got them when they did that promo, either.)

We think in collector terms. Some main players/standard army builders should reship, but not at 2/3rds of a case more like 1/3. And since new figures are usually one per case, collectors scoop them up, so there's certain characters kids or their parents never see. And that's a shame, too. It doesn't foster a new generation of collectors.

With a new Rex coming, the old mold needs to be completely retired. Cody needs a hiatus, too until he gets a new figure. And there's newer ARF Troopers, as well.
