I agree with JediMac's reply- That's simply a ridiculous trade- 5 figs for one current retail figure...What?? IMO it's more understandable/allowable two make an offer like this 3-5 years down the road if it was determined the figure to be a HTF
/rare item. Certainly not for a current item. Don't be pursuaded or fooled by a LEE'S, TOMART's, Brian's Toys self proclaimed values of CURRENT retail items. The value is only as good as what/how badly someone wants it for.  Realistically, I'd be willing to bank that most people won't go to such desperate lengths for a current figure they still have a legit crack at- Or, at least, they done it once only to find the item in a store later and learn their lesson(guilty).

On the other hand I think the scalper remark is incorrectly placed here- If it were for $ value over the figure then I believe it would be legit-calling out someone out as a scalper-but, since this trade was designed for common figs/not money(which I don't see making alot off of) then I think there's no place for that comment.

When I was a young Kid instead of crying because I ' worked for minimun wage' I busted my ass and was really helpful to anyone. This 'attitude' got/won me OUT of minmum wage so I continued it and ended up getting 4 pay raises inside a year. I can easily see IMO however, carrying the (even though I just joined the workforce) 'the world owes me something' attitude and feeling sorry for myself play leaves definately no room for improvement/deservedly stuck at minimum wage. And now back to the original topic....

Jared- The older pilot had a flat black suit like this? I can't verify because I'm not in Northern Cal where my showroom is. IMO The ship is too good -the pilot, that will be inserted in the ship anyway- is of minor importance.  

After looking at my sith evolutions( not opened) I agree with the Doctor about Palp's paint application . Damn this fig looks good! The only thing I find comical is that his face looks more like he's trying to push out a log then getting fierce and angry. LOL IMO

The Paint application on the Sandtrooper DOES look like Bantha Poodoo. LOL he looks like smeared in TP. Maybe..just Maybe he was riding a Dewback then fell asleep on the job, fell out of his saddle and caught his foot in the stirrup and was dragged for miles being ..(you guessed it-crapped on as well)  before a comrade stopped his dewback to let it know he was using his master as TP!

WHOA! Just picked up this Tie tonite at Target. Totally satisfied...Can I just give thanks to JD-the awesome staffers here totally helped me get this ship tonite(Jared, Jeff-you guys rock). Last nite I wrote down the DCPI's that Jeff left and decided to try them at Target using Jared's plan. I ran into a little snag when.. the pricing machines at my store have no keypads- but luckily I found a toy clerk who checked the number( after looking at me like" where did you get this DCPI# you little ****" look he punched it in, went in the back and brought me the prize!

I was shaking at the checkout!- This ship alone was worth the 40 I killed on it just for the flashback it gave me-
It was about 1978/79 (I was 8,9)and my step dad and I were looking at a tie fighter in Kmart or JCPenny ..He said" Is this the one you want for your birthday, Jon?" I said "WHOAAA a Tie fighter, isn't it totally Baddo, Jay?" He said " Farm-OUT- Let's just not tell your Mom you're getting it for your B-day alright?" And then he gave that thumbs up sign like he always did.

Hey, Thanks Jeff! I'll try them. So..If you punch these in and they come up with quantities then how do you ask a store employee (who's lazy and doesn't remember it's a business and there company needs to make a sale) to look in the back for this fig.? especially when they give that Goddamned programmed " they stock at night so whatever is out is all we have" response? If we tell them it's in the scanner-then they wanna know how we know or won't get the item until we are  then forced to prove to them that their system says there's more. When we do this don't we risk a local store policy with notes on the collector isles saying " we will not check in the back for DCPI items". <I hate Target> don't they wanna make a sale-they're so ******* lazy-even the managers
