Matt, I don't have the first maroon Obi JSF, but I seem to recall it was a clean version.  And I think it's the one that came out of the 1st WM 5 pack?...

Indeed, it did.  Thanks for the tip, King.  I double checked in Jesse's checklists, and yeah, it was in that first WM 5-pack, and shockingly, I even knew exactly where mine was (and more shockingly was able to get to it).  Compared the two, and yes, the first one's squeeky clean, and this one's definitely "battle-damaged".  Aside from the aforementioned black (carbon?) streaks on the ship, there's also a bunch of silverish paint chips scattered around the new version (which you can't really see in the picture above).  The differences are definitely very noticeable when the two versions are side by side, and a must get for any "completists" who nab anything with any type of paint differences.  Glad I looked into this, 'cause I was of the opinion I only needed the obvious five ships from this latest wave...

I actually saw a Pegasus for the first time today, so I think there's still hope for those still looking for that one.  Sorry, I hadn't read this thread prior to my toy run, or I'd have nabbed it.  I'm actually pleased with myself for even managing to pass on it, since I bit on the classic Viper and Cylon Raider for some odd nostalgic reason.  But I think the look of those two fighters are quite a bit cooler than the bigger Pegasus, which had a rather crappy paint job as well, IMO.  I don't feel quite as nostalgic for that ship, so I think 2 BSGs is going to fortunately be enough for me.

Still haven't seen the V-Wing or Plo-Koon fighter though.

Pegasus? I have 1. Actually I took it to our last swap meet and no one wanted so I was getting ready to return it- I f you want me to ship it, Ryan, send me a PM.

No need to ship it really, if you're both going to be at C4 in a couple weeks.  You could just take it along and save the few bucks in shipping a tiny little ship like that.  Or you could give it to me, Jon, and I could pass it along to Ryan there, no problem...

I took a stripper.

...and became a famous TV star in the process, IIRC.  :P

That my friend is snow.  ;)

Never heard of it.

I just noticed that RS referred to Obi-Wan's Starfighter from this wave as "Battle-Damaged".  Glancing at the pic, and at the one I just begrudgingly bought at WM since I couldn't remember if it was repainted (along with the Clone Tank, B-Wing & ARC), I can see some black streaks on it.  Were those on the original Obi Fighter, or was it clean?  Anyone have theirs (or a pic) around to compare the two?  I'm guessing it's a slight paint alteration to this ship as well, which is going to compel my stupid OCD into buying (and keeping) yet another piece of crap from this wave...  >:(

Nice group shot there, MN crew.  'Bout time you guys did that so we could put some more faces to the names!  Especially that blue and white thing in the middle row...  I might've guessed that was Scott, had I not known better.  What's with all those weird little white spots everywhere though?  Looks like someone could use a new camera.

As for the prom, I went three years in a row, and had a blast every year (before, during and after).  Guess 'round here that makes me some kind of freak, or something...  :-X

Mcquarrie Stormtroopers x2 $8.47 each Plus shipping

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to lock this up until you contact a staff member about the recurring pricing issues in your classifieds posts, most of which do not appear to be at regular "retail" prices (as we've PM'd you about before). Sorry.

Please see my PM.

Round 2's in the bag with King here (at least on his end), and once again, the King has been most generous in helping me boost my armies for a very reasonable amount in trade.  In fact, he even advanced me one of my items, since I have yet to locate the stuff he needs from my collection pit.  But I'll even out the score real soon King, I swear!  Thanks again, buddy...

P.S.  Sorry 'bout that figure squashing incident there.  We'll remedy that in a few weeks at C4 as well, hopefully...  :-[

Nothing on the Bantha, so I'll assume that thing's identical to it's POTF2 release.

Wha...? The banthas clearly have different fur from the POTF release.

Whoops!  I mispoke there.  Yeah, I recall seeing the differences in fur from the POTF2 release.  I meant to type that both the tan and red sets have identical Banthas, which seems to indeed be the case.  Good deal.  It looks like I should be able to get by with just one (red) opener, and one (tan) boxed set, thank God.  Now I just have to find the damned things...

Pawlus did a nice write-up on the differences with the Tuskens over at GH, with some good pix showing both versions.  Nothing on the Bantha, so I'll assume that thing's identical to it's POTF2 release.  I'm still hoping to just go with the beige set for my boxed version, and the redder ones for my openers.  It looks like that should suffice...  Hopefully.

20 straight non-NBA posts.  How 'bout we drop the forum name discussion and try to get back on topic here, eh?

As for the Heat, as much as I'd love to see them get swept, I'm definitely not counting them out yet.  Though it'd be completely insane to come back at this point, I wouldn't put it past them.  I've seen crazier **** happen before...
