Noble Collection had Lord of the Ring stuff.  I never bought any of it but it didn't look that bad....I do know some people bought the stuff and didn't care for it.

I have Arwen's sword from United Cutlery and love it!  I don't know if Star Wars is something they would jump on though....

Dammit-I'm late again :(

A Very Happy (belated) Birthday Kevin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe what I just read in the forums at MR.... :'(

Master Replica will no longer have the Lucasfilm license

Aren't you glad there is no Kubrick exclusive  ;)

Oh, I think I wrote my question wrong.  I know it is a limit of four per badge (five actually for those of us going on Fan Club day - that's a direct quote).  I meant, if I wander over to the store at 9pm on Thursday, is it even worth my time because they probably went through "x" amount of figures by then??  At C3 - they ran out a few hours after they opened (they didn't really run out but they hit their alloted 10,000/day limit).  I can't find a number that they plan on selling per day anywhere so I am extremely hopeful that if I stand in the line for 4-6 hours, at least I'll get my limited number of droid figures.

Dale - now it's almost a no-brainer....I guess I hit the KOTO booth first thing.  I hope they limit these to two per person (at most).

I've been scrolling around various threads and can't seem to find the answer.  Is there an alloted amount of McQuarrie figures (the droids) for the Celebration Store each day?  Since it is open 24 hours I am hoping the answer is no (escpecially on Fan Club day).  I guess if you have a really late fast path, it would be pointless if they didn't let you get your four figures right?  So I am hoping the same is true for the regular line.  I know at C3 (and I think C2), they only sold around 10,000 per day and once those were gone - you were screwed(for that day anyways).

I guess I have the same question for the Hasbro Luke figure....any idea if there is a set limit to sell each day???

I already know the quantities on the KOTO Yoda, MR items, sws.com Fett, ACME frame just not the figures...

For those that need the ACME key, here's something I found at RS (which I forgot about earlier).

ACME Character Key-Preorder

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Night Owl or Early Bird?

I am one of those people who get out of bed early and am wound up tighter-than-a-drum by the time I hit the office.  I'm loud and happy and full of energy and the most annoying person that I can be (or so I am repeatedly told).  When the clock strikes 9pm, I feel like I am going to turn into a pumpkin.  I have a hard time staying up to watch LOST (but I do) so I am the happy-go-lucky-early-bird  :D

Now I would have never thought of Jack's father as Jacob but it would be a great twist :)

I did notice that there was someone IN the chair....then I wasn't sure so I am glad for the proof I wasn't seeing things.  What a great episode.  I can't believe I will be in LA for the final one  :'(.  I don't know if I will stay up to watch it (as I will still be on East Coast time) or just bag it and watch it when I get back.  Anyhow....good stuff!!

If the ACME item shows up for pre-order, I'll try to snag that beforehand.  I really want the Koto Yoda and am torn between which booth to go to first:  sws.com, Hasbro or Koto.  They are all close to each other so it will be a toss up as to which line looks the shortest.

I'll have to stand in the regular store line (I still can't believe I never knew about that fast-pass) and hope that all the female shirts and pins aren't sold out after my shift ends at 8:30 on Thursday.

I am just hoping Master Replica gets their head out of their ass and lets us pre-order.  It's not that hard for them to do.  Otherwise, it's another line decision I have to make  :-\.

Thanks again to Brent for fighting the GG server and getting me Yoda.  :)

Celebration IV: Los Angeles / Re: Fan club Breakfasts

If it wasn't for Mousedroid, I wouldn't have one either.  Like an idiot, I actually tried to find the comments spot to put my name in and wasted about 30 seconds and lost my item at checkout.  I feel bad for those that wanted to go and couldn't.  After reading all the negative stuff at RS, I figured it wouldn't be that hard to get a ticket....goes to show what I know.

Oh, the fan club allowed you in the first hour early at C2 & C3 but there was no way in hell they could control the crowd once those doors opened.  My husband had a laynard that was similiar to mine and when he tried to hand the lady the family pass, she just barked at him to keep moving.....

I think they learned their lesson because I honestly think it took some fan club members almost an hour to get INTO the place once the door opened!!!

This year, I assume the passes are for Thursday and the Fan Club lounge.

Well, the printout inside the envelope states:

Thursday 12pm-8pm for just about every event for the day
Friday 10am-7pm for same as above
Saturday 10am-7pm for same as above
Sunday 10am-7pm for same as above
Monday 10am-4pm for same as above

Some events (Vader helmet art exhibit, family room, Lucasfilm archieve) close at 6pm.

I know my volunteer schedule states I need to be to the autogrpah hall at 9:30 Friday, which makes sense because we have to be there 1/2 hour before the doors open and Thursday, my shift ends at 8:30 (1/2 hour after close).

I was really hoping that the con would last longer than 8pm....I guess I'll head over to the store then and stand in line :P

PS:  Nothing is open until midnight except the store, which runs 24 hours until 2pm Monday.

Just a heads up for those that ARE going and might be picking stuff up for those that are not...
Gentle Giant's pre-order-free-for-all goes live sometime on Thursday, May10th.

Well, I got my pass and laynard today.  Also got the family passes so if anyone needs these, let me know...

I didn't realize the convention didn't open until 10:00 Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon.  I thought I read it was a 9:00am opening.  It doesn't state in the letter where the will-call booth will be, only what doors to use to enter for the convention center and the store.
