The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS)

Just a thought,
Compare the backstory/details we knew about Emperor Palpatine at the end of ROTJ with the backstory/details about Snoke at the end of TLJ. ...
Yep.

I keep hearing this. And whereas I'm not melting down we don't know more about Snoke, it's also 2017, not 1983.

Different crazed fan base to leave hanging.

I just realized I didn't use the word amount in my original post.
the amount of backstory  on the two characters should be compared. when you do that you'll realize... wow there wasn't really much backstory on either of these two dudes by the time they were killed off.

If that's the last wave then, I'm surprised there hasn't been any refresh shipments. At least in my area it seems to be a case of each store got their one case and then that's it. Now the only thing still hanging around is the Rose figure.

I would echo the same thing here around Minneapolis. I monitor the local inventories of 12-15 walmart stores and it seems most stores only received one TLJ case, if any.

Is anyone tracking if the Republic attack Cruiser has been released in the Hot Wheels Starships line? I see it listed on the insert that came with the resistance bomber ship.

I don’t believe Ren about Rey’s lineage.
I don't either. Ive always assumed she won in TFA because he knows who she really is and wouldn't Slaughter her similar to Vader fighting Luke on bespin. If his statements about her parents are true from this movie verbatim then they got a pretty dumb plot hole going on.

Is the cloud city pack with Lobot exclusive to Walmart.com? I've never noticed these in a store and brickseek claims we have none in the Minneapolis area.

I received a reply from the Manager from the MN zoo Imax. They don't yet have any word on the length of the "exclusive content".

I sure hope it isn't that 2 minute long garbage where the cast and director say hi to the audience. No thanks.

Has there been any Announcements of newer figures than the wave with Luke, Rose, Executioner, and Praetorian?

I thought you just got a ticket, pop, popcorn, and some small trinket.  I've not heard of different video content before.  Has that been rumored/announced?

Thats a good point about the word "video" content. Most showings list "exclusive content" but don't mention the word video. Here's the listing for the zoo IMAX.

Does anyone know the nature of the special content in the TLJ 6pm showings on 12/14? I’m hoping it’s not much behind the scenes footage as I am going into this movie free of seeing trailers and any content in general. I would like to have the movie start and just absorb it all as it happens.

Was this Mandalorian ship easy to find at some point. I don't remember this at all. Now I'm wondering what else I missed. I see there was a rebels a-wing as well.

Try the Kool-aid you guys. Seriously, its going to be worth it.

Dave, I agreed with everything you said until I realized I don't have to approve a blank check, instead it's just $110 or so to vote in support of this line to ensure the releases of Yak face  Sim Aloo, and maybe the Tonnika Sisters.

Hear me out on this one.

I am a guy who generally opens every toy I buy and leaves almost nothing in the package, so buying repacks that come on cool TVC cards has not been too appealing.

I am also a guy who has stated I would happily pay around $20 a figure for a new subscription line of 3.75” super articulated figures designed for collectors.

The opportunity before me is to tell Hasbro they screwed up by boycotting the first two waves of the TVC relaunch, or realize that “buying in” to a relaunch of a non-exclusive line I really want is a steal priced at $12.99. Two waves of repacks will run about $110. With my previous comfort in paying $20 a figure for a hypothetical toy line, that $110 cost will be absorbed into the first 15-16 new sculpts I buy as the line continues. After that the line will be smooth sailing while enjoying continuous waves at $12.99.

All this is true even though I did manage to pick up an extras of 3.75” TBS from Walmart including two extra Reys, Finn, Poe, Kylo, and a bunch of Stormtroopers when they were marked down to $5.84 this past summer. It has been hard to overlook how excessive these new repacks will be, but I have pulled my head out of my butt and now I see the light.
