I'm a conspiracy theorist as it is, but I think those PED guys were used by the league to boost ratings after the strike damaged their reputation.  What a better way to generate interest and get people back into baseball by having the chase for the home run record.  I don't know if PED was encouraged by the league or if they turned a blind eye to it just so they could get people in the seats again, but that's my feeling on the matter.  Now that these guys took one for the team, they are being shunned for doing it.  And how could the league not know this was going on?  One season McGwire is a 'puny' guy, the next he's a powerhouse.  Sad.

Maybe the Mayan apocalypse was really Hasbro's schedule? 

I guess I just worry about whiplash with those simulator rides.  It's been awhile ago, and I believe it was the Back to the Future ride where it jerked suddenly that I cracked my head against the back of the car and ended up with a fine migraine for the rest of the day and decided I'd never ride one of those things again.

I guess I'm in the 'wait and see what happens' category.  I wasn't too impressed with the BAD offerings, except for a couple figures and droids, so the delay doesn't bother me much.  Reissuing the best-of for most of the year is great for those that had problems obtaining figures the 'first-time 'round' but I hope it doesn't back up pegs in the long run, either.  I guess for me, I'll use this time to reflect on what I have and what I want from the future.  The less figures offered this year means more money for the following years (and that ESB Slave I we're getting).  I'm sure we'll hear more at Toy Fair, so there's no point in panicking (not that I would) until I hear some confirmation.  I totally get that Hasbro probably has a lot on their plate now that Disney has the rights and the new films are coming in a couple years, so I'm glad that they're stepping back and reorganizing before going forward.

I got a couple Gammies there a month ago.  They had pegs in back, where I found one... none in wheelbarrows, but I was satisfied to pick that up... until I got to the registers where they had another set of pegs devoted to figures, where I found a second.  And I verified my Wedge that it's different than the earlier release.
