The ending scene is a shot with the husband on his ten year home visit and little bootstrap the 3rd at mommies side singing pirate songs.

The seen where Optimus, the Pontiac Solstice, the 4WD truck and the Hummer turn on the highway is the scene they filmed out here on the road that spans the lakebed. Wonder if they'll use the scene for the movie or not so I can see what the rest of my family witnessed when they blocked the road.
Sorry, I don't know the other 3 good guys' names though. My son and I were looking at the movie toys and he pointed out the ones from the scene. He also said the robot that is a hummer-like vehicle was yellow instead of green like the toy was painted at the store. I'm banking it's likely chartreuse.

Not bad only a 5-1 thread so far. At least 2 folks had a real sense of humor about it.

Artoo, don't mind them..it's typical gangbanging anyhow ;D. It's the internet- so say what you want..
as you can see many folks like to pretend they're 'holier than thou'. Reality? We know they they live with unmown lawns and leave their carts anywhere in the parking lot.

Seriously? These folks don't live in glass houses either. Respect comments Drebbel?? Coming from you? Hmmmm HaHAHA..... interesting ;D ;).

I don't know....

On the issue of painting quality in WOTC minis, I'd have to say I'm more torn then ever.

I just purchased 5 boxes of these and some like the Boba Fett and Yuzzan Vong look awesome while many others looked poor like the Aurra-Sing and Luke. Even the DST looked horrible as well-despite his poor paint job, he had extra plastic sticking up on his helm that wasn't removed by a sculptor and instead painted over as well--lame ::).

Then again, I saw some that Matt had and they looked decent. Well, since I only have 35 figures, I'll withhold judgement for now. From what I've seen so far, there's a drop in paint quality over the other WOTC SW lines.

(what's the deal with calling it an AT-TP?  That bugs me).

No, I'll tell you what's not right. The dumbass name of this thread is not right. :P

A true AT-PT is an imperial "chicken walker" -a 1 person manned, micro imperial concept walker introduced in 'rogue squadron' the PC game and not seen in any of the SW films.

Thread title should be AT-AP pod walker. ::)

The upper gun does look dumb, Jesse

Yesterday I scored:

One full set of Wave 1 Legends
1 extra Legends Droid 2pack
One full set of wave 3
7 extra Stormtroopers
1 Snowtrooper

Wow!  Nice grab for one day's haul.  What store did you find these at, or was it a combo of stores?

It was all at the same Target. That was my personal haul, I picked up more for some locals. There were three other guys there as well, and everyone walked away happy.

If you got 8 stormies for alone, that's 4 cases worth, let alone anyhting you might have picked up for others or that the other three guys got.  I don't think any of the targets by me even have room for 4 cases of figs on the shelf!

True, if you're talking about a wave 3 case. The wave 3 Rev. 1 cases have 3 stormies however-oh, and uh, those are out at stores now too. That's just what he reported getting- he didn't say how many cases there were; they're were others collectors there too... Crunchynug, Anton?

I'm terribly sorry that I didn't have an extra grand on me to attend the convention...

Me too, since we could have met you there! :(

Maybe they're just having fun with you ;)

I think they're trying to appease to the C4 attendees.  Quite frankly, I think the least we can do is let this one slide - how do you think the C4 attendess feel?
They travel all the way to the show, wait in line for hours on end to pay $15 for a figure that we all got shipped to our cozy homes for $11.25...shipped free of charge?

How does a c4 attendee feel? What, I should say burn in hell and pay the full price to folks possibly wanting a discount? ...because I had to pay entry fees? Honestly?

Actually, I have my figures in hand and no longer care about further gaffes by Hasgro on these. If folks can get it cheaper, great-good for them-anytime to take advantage do it!-but I really don't care either way. My ticket to my first ever Celebration was for the experience of it, actually. Getting toys there was a side story-I'm glad I went too because I had a great time with my little brother and son.

At least I never waitied in a line more than 30 minutes and only 2 lines at that- the rest of the time I enjoyed the celebration!

All the whining(huge posts from 1 person hogging too many threads) that has been relatively extinguished
since Hasbro's offering these toys on line LIKE MEMBERS TOLD THE WHINER they would has now been replaced by this recent discount gaffe.

Now, many folks seem upset about this-a legitimate gripe at that.
