I can't believe it. Two of my favorite shows on TV today are Jeff Corwin's and Steve Irwin's. What a shock. I just hope his family does okay after this. It's always hard to take a death on family, but his child can't be that old now. Hopefully they had enough income from the shows to stay well now that he's gone. His wife was also in the occupation, was she not?

I found Hot Topic the store disgusting, however, the seemingly satanic employees were quite nice to me, a dweebish, white-bred, suburbanite.

You want a black-light tattoo so you'll look like a ******* badass during the "Wacky Bowling" session on Saturday night, but you can go to church with Mom and Dad on Sunday morning and nobody'll be the wiser.
What if you suck at bowling and you fall asleep during mass? That doesn't help you at all. :P

They sent this email to us at work ::)

“Transformers” Casting Call
Oasis Community Center, Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you’ve ever wanted to be in a major Hollywood blockbuster, now’s your chance. Casting directors from the live-action “Transformers” motion picture will be on base Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Oasis Community Center. Anyone interested in appearing in the movie in a non-speaking role should come to the Oasis between these times.

The film, produced by Steven Spielberg (E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, Saving Private Ryan) and directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon, Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor), is scheduled to shoot several scenes here September 6th. Any military member selected to appear as an extra in the picture must be able to take a day of leave (or be in a non-duty status) on September 6th in order to appear in the film.  Those selected to appear in the film will earn $126 plus overtime if the shooting takes longer than 8 hours.

Please bring the attached form filled out and signed by your immediate supervisor just in case you are selected."

Ahhh, no thanks. We get these kind of emails all the time. Personally, I think the movie will blow even if it's Steven Speilberg so I wouldn't even want to participate in something I feel is gonna be a POS, AKA Power Rangers or Pokemon class movie.

Hey...there was a lot of buzz around that first Pokemon movie.

I doubt you'd make a good Pikachu anyways. You aren't cute and you don't purr. :-X

I didn't ask how you're going to see it...I asked about the significance of having a disappearing tattoo. I'd like to know why you're longing for one in the first place so I can decide whether or not I can take you seriously on this. If you want a tattoo so you can be badass, you probably want people to see it. If you just want a tattoo of, for example, a dead relative's initials, I can see why it would be advantageous to get a black-lit tattoo. I don't recall how old you are, but I'm assuming you've got some time to think it over, so I'd just advise you to be careful about this decision; it could matter more than you think.

I want to get one when I turn 18, my parents would never approve, and would stop paying tuition if I got one. My solution, get one of the new Blacklight tattoos, that way, it only shows up under black light, and I don't have to worry about it when I'm old. ::) ;D

So um...What's the point if no one can see it? I'd like to hear this one.

Star Wars Universe / Re: Delta Squad: What happened to Sev?

If Temuera Morrison isn't invloved, I imagine it would be disappointing. After playing an entire game that used his voice, it would be difficult to imagine anyone else playing the characters of Delta, or rather even Omega, squad. Who knows at this point who's involved in the live action series.

I like old people (curse me), so the old Mariner and War tatoos appeal to me, but since I can't go back to 1940 and slap one on, I really can't see myself getting any. I also have known a few people with tatoos from Nazi concentration camps, albeit they are just skribbled numbers, but from a young age, I've always seen tatoos in a bad light. If you can explain to me what the meaning behind your tatoo is, I'm very interested in hearing about it, but I don't find them sexy or thought provoking, so I guess I don't love 'em or hate 'em, just a little turned off by them.

I understand EU can be cool...but you like it way too much. It seems to be at a degree of obsession with you. ;)
