The shot of Luke with the cannon is just a promo shot.  I do wnder how that hover tank never managed to even get in a single shot from the film.  If Hasbro wants smaller, "aggressive" vehicles, this could be super cool. Make the Hoth one with a Rebel soldier, and paint one with camo and put it out with a retooled Rebel Commando..I'd buy both.

I'm not sure why the vintage look is not everywhere in the line, including Clone Wars.  To me it's iconic, and most people from my generation equate SW with this particular packaging.  It could be as recognizable as Coke or other brands which have more or less maintained their 'vintage' logos.  I also like the idea about the Kenner line being unbroken.  If the CW line were in this look, oh my God.

I agree.  The CW cards are all different images anyway (meaning not a generic cardback) , so why not go all the way?

The imagry from the show is great and the cards would be very appealing.

Is that Nikto guard part of next year's regular line?

Great figure, but does anyone who really wants him actually need him?  My TRU is still flooded with him.

Ooops.  So sorry. I was just stating that it fits into Hasbro's Vehicle/Playset agenda that the BMF started.

I think a BMF Sandcrawler is not...too out of the question.  It's a very good playset, and features heavily in the Lego Star Wars game, so it has a chance.

Too bad they didn't do that during build a droid, and you could set up inside.

Who knows, maybe they will take adavantage of all the BAD parts, and use them as pack in stuff.

It could also have some sort of hidden gun, or winch, or crane or something, for play value.  Plus lots of hatches and stairs and play spaces. It could even have some sort of Mini-Rig that rolls  out like the BMF's life pod thingy. The more I think about it, the more I think it could be super cool.

These look great!!

And I really like the mixed wave.  It's much more interesting to me.  And, honestly, if that was an all AOTC line, I might skip the clones.  But mixed up like that, I want them. Don't know why.

I assume the AT-RT pilot is very articulated, because we never got one that was SA.  Am I correct?

Give me a figure called "Detention Block Guard" and give him those big silver boxes on his belt and I'd be in SW heaven.

Just curious...did this appear in ESB in a whiter paint scheme? If so, they could repaint this, and have the rebel tech figure (Vinatge Rebel Hoth Soldier) be the pack in.

The real trick to a mudular set would be to make parts that can be used more than once.  How many conference rooms do you need?  One.  How many gunner stations could you use?  Two, maybe three...

How many Trash Compactors?  One.

How many control rooms/hallways?  Many...

I think the arms look long because of the perspective. Look how time the boots look.

Yeah, it looks too clean.  But the saber looks white also.  Maybe this is a packaging test of some sort.

I've been wanting this one for a long time, and this is the sort of retooling/parts upgrade that I totally believe in.

As a literature and Linguistics man, I suggest the change for this planet is due to the stronger and more appelaing name of Dathomir, cause Rattatak is kinda cacophonic and so childish for a serious name.

So is Greedo.  I mean, he's greedy...so his name is Greedo.  SW is pulp, not serious literature.  Rancr?  Mon Clalmari?  C'mon.  It's supposed to be goofy.

Wow.  Great story.  I've been pretty crappy about getting anything going.  I have cut my junkfood intake drastically, but haven't been getting out and moving enough...tom'w...tom'w...

Habro would do well to show as many card mockups of TVC as possible, just for fun.

I think Hasbro has stated that the TVC package will stay that way for two years.

But, yes, I agree about how crappy the pegs look with cards from 4 collections.  I think it makes SW unappealing to a newcomer becuase it makes the line so complicated and involved.

Here's where I just don't get Hasbro at all...why make the DST the same black outfit when fans have been asking for the figure in gray as well.  I would have bought two sets if he had been gray.  I will be buying none.

I may buy the Hoth trooper one, but still, it's still buying two figures I don't need.  I can't really justify it anymore.
