I'm not sure who I'm pulling for in the playoffs this year. Vancouver Boston I suppose.

Fixed that for ya.  ;)

I'm not sure that my Bruins have what it takes to repeat.  They've looked fairly shaky, I'm just not sure what to expect.

Wow, I can't believe the crazy number of tornadoes that have hit the US this year already.

Carded images up at sandtroopers.

Tarkin looks better...maybe...hard to tell.

Christ, could those pics be any smaller?  There's a bad joke to be made here.  ;)

POTF2 now has bigger pics here.

Tarkin looks great, but it's still hard to look past that soft goods, I think JJ is right in that soft plastic with a cut/split may have been the better way to go.  I understand why they did it, so he can sit, but I'm not sure the execution is quite right.

He died in your arms?  Oh man, that must have been tough.  Sorry Ryan.

I am a domestic engineer, a nurse, a psychiatrist, a teacher, a hostage negotiator, a judge and jury, a chef, a magician, a juggler, an acrobat, a costumer, a cab driver and a dispenser of hugs and kisses. :)

Well said Tracy.  :)

Vintage Kenner / Re: Modern Vintage Repros

The figures are reproductions, first created by Mark Poon who even used the Hong Kong stamp on the leg.  It appears that a company in China is now using his molds to mass produce the figures and place them on these crazy cardbacks.  I think it's safe to say they are NOT licensed, despite the copyright.

I've never quite understood the passion for Jocasta Nu, but is she actually a Jedi?  I have a Jedi collection display, so I'd add her to the list, only because she fits into that display.

Pardon the stupid question.

That was a hell of a night you had on Tuesday Scott -- 19 pts.  You're making me nervous.  ;)

I tore my ACL skiing earlier this winter, so I've done a piss poor job with my weight.  It keeps creeping back on.  But I had a custom knee brace made this week and I think it's going to help a lot with getting active again, I sure miss it!  8)

I dropped 15 lbs since December, but I don't recommend my route: seasonal depression.  :(

That usually causes me to eat more, rather than less.  :-\

I'm loving realistic Anakin.  I really think he looks incredible, and can't wait to add him to the Ani shelf.

I agree!  I wasn't sure how he was going to translate into a realistic style, but it looks like they've done a fantastic job.

Same vintage photo for Vader, now the figure matches it more. They could've done something different.

I was hoping they were going to use the other vintage Kenner photo, the one with him pointing.  Though I suppose the current pic is more accurate for the ANH style robe over his armour.

I don't know a whole lot about what various pieces are going for these days, but this site is a fantastic reference, especially the checklists:

I've been tempted by a VC Jawa a couple times recently, but I just can't quite pull the trigger on that much money for one figure...

Great stuff Dale!  Congrats on the Ledy Jawa, he looks great next to his brothers.

The Palitoy FX-7 will display well with your other FX-7's as well.
