Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Llamas...

I noticed that's what it says for new users, but I just couldn't put it all together.  Thanks for the explanation on it.

Watto's Junk Yard / Llamas...
« on: March 21, 2003, 06:18 PM »
PLEASE don't make fun of me about this, but I've always wanted to ask this question.  I see this term Llama in so many different Star Wars forums (I know what they are so don't tell me what they are), but yet I don't recall seeing a Llama in any of the Star Wars movies.

Why does everyone here talk about Llamas?

Again, no making fun of me and no flaming... OK?

Should we all take picture of our beer guts???  Hmmm... I don't think so.

 ;)

Now that is about the worst idea I've ever heard Chris :P

Maybe we should have a JediDefender Great Lose Weight-a-Thon

I've never had anything happen to me like that.  Great find!

It's fixed now.  I agree with Jango Fettish about the problem... I also noticed that same problem.  Thanks for fixing it.

Great collection, but you have got to get rid of the border on your walls (with the sailboats)!

JUST KIDDING!!!

Awesome pickup you have there, and what a great figure to start off your collection.  Good thing you have it in an acrylic case.  That's the only way to go with the vintage carded figures.

With this being true C-10 quality (which I don't own anything that's C-10), what would you think the true value of it is then? Geoffrey Carlton's "Super Wish Book" says $16, AllTroops.com says $25, and Rebelscum's price guide says $20.  Just curious because like I said, I've never seen a carded figure (in person) look as perect as this one.  Thank god I had an extra acrylic case just waiting for him.

Episode 1 / Re:What is you favorite Episode I figure?
« on: March 17, 2003, 11:28 PM »
I have three I would consider to be my favorites...

3. Destroyer Droids -- Just an awesome piece of machinery
2. Aurra Sing -- Even though she was only in it for maybe 2 seconds
1. Darth Maul -- Too bad he died so easily though

I have to definitely change my selection here...

3. Destroyer Droids
2. OOM-9
1. R2-B1

I finally got my R2-B1 from an auction on eBay (for $19), and I must say this card is truly C-10 condition! I'm not kidding!!! I have never owned a carded figure like this... it's just about perfect in every way. Well, the only thing that irritates me is that the label is crooked, but that's Hasbro's fault and not the seller's. That shouldn't hurt the value of this, do you think? Here's a picture of it...

I totally see it.  Good job finding that similarity!

My most important to me as in value... my R2-D2 Ceramic Cookie Jar.

Do you have a picture of this cookie jar?

Yes, I'm all about pictures (in several of my posts I'm always asking for pictures).  :)

I have a wall full of autos. It takes lots of time and patience to acquire autos. But it is a worth while venture if you have the time to do such a thing.

Do you have a picture of this wall of autographs by chance?  I'd love to see your collection.
