These planned '07 figs sound pretty good, I'll be getting most if not all of them. I can check 10-15 customs off my "to do" list. I'm a bit skeptical of the Holiday Fett (since Lucas' disownment of the Holiday Special) and the Imperial Academy Biggs, but usually RS is right on the money with their predictions. Also:

I'd buy all of these in a second. I actually made some vintage customs years ago of Bea Arthur, Torque, Lumpy or Itchy (whichever was the kid wookiee) and the cartoon Fett. I'll try to dig them up and post pics in the customs forum.

Overall he feels more real with the paint and poncho. I have 3 of him and put him in the preveiw armor to make them look different. I wish the upcoming H&V re-release sported a new paint job as good as this one!

The BM destroyer is still the best version yet!

We have enough clones how about Gungans, Ewoks, Rebel scrubs (mechanics and such), Mon Calamari, Imperial scanner dudes that are SA. Yeah the reality is pegs would be clogged but this would be a great fan club exclusive.

EE would do us a big favor if one of their next pack was army building filler that were at least kitbashed with some new headsculpts. They hinted they next exclusive was something we could not live with out........maybe Ewoks!

OK, now everyone can bash me.

I'm a traditionalist/purist in this idea as well. Stick to the only figures that had actual vintage era counterparts. 

I am also a traditionalist, so I would rather they stick to what was really part of the vintage line. However, I am a realist too. If they made prequel style figures like this I would buy them.
The bearded side of the merchandise force has a terrible hold over me. Its worse than a drug addiction. I buy every different (not repacks) 3.75 figure Hasbro makes and get the shakes if i do not buying something new every few days. Saying I would not buy prequel VOTC because of my "traditional ethic" would be the biggest a crock of ****.
I would bet even most of the hardcore "purist" would cave if they were that cool.

I would love to see them re-release a real POTF figure like Luke Stormtrooper or Han carbonite, actually the good old Yakface would be sweet. He would just warm pegs though.
