I agree. But what's worse is that there are people buying every one of these. I mean, can't Hasbro make a new vehicle instead of repainting the same ones over and over? I mean, think about it:

Quit whining you babies. You remind me of noobs over at sites like RS that keep whining and whining about a figure or pointing out it's tiny mistakes and flaws over and over again. If you don't want the figure, then say something critical about it once, and then be done with it. No one on these boards wants to read how you hate a figure in 5 different posts.
Same goes with Revan. On a lot of sites (including here) people repeatedly complain about how they don't want him or how he won't sell. But they say it over...and over...and over...and over again.
Seriously, no one cares.

I think TPM is just okay, but Maul is the main reason (probably the ONLY reason) that I like it.
AOTC is getting on my last nerve. Horrible acting, unrealistic fights, boring dialogue sequences, and plus, I watched it about 100 times between when it came out on video to now. I'm sick of it. I never want to watch AOTC again unless it's some sort of all-6-movies star wars marathon.
ROTS is by far my favorite out of the prequels. But it does rely a little too much on special effects than plot or dialogue. Well, the plot was great and all, but it could have been spiced up a little. The main reason it's my favorite of the PT movies is how it's so dark. I mean, sure, in ESB the Empire wins that time, but then in the next movie, the Empire is destroyed and none of the stuff in ESB really mattered. That's not how it is in ROTS. The evil and dark things reign over the galaxy for 19 years, and then finally after all that time, the Rebellion comes through and destroys the Death Star.

Even though everyone knew that Jax would be the mystery figure, I'm still excited to see him! He just looks so...cool! I'll be re-enacting lots of fight scenes with these figures.

« on: July 10, 2006, 09:49 PM »Personally I hope they do well because it means the continuation of the Star Wars line as whole which can not stand alone on those obscure background figures alone IMO. We have to get used it in a way with the upcoming TV series and 3-D animated stuff.

IMO, Hasbro needs to focus more on EU because that is the future of Star Wars. There is no more canon material unless you count the TV series. So that means everyone (and that includes the OT purists) needs to get into the swing if seeing figures in the pegs that you may not have even heard of before. So far 2007 seems to be a great start to the EU-era of Star Wars, and I am very happy!
