there is supposed to be a Marvel Universe 6 pack on the way later in the year, although they didn't say who was in it specifically

Rooting for Angel, Beast, Scott, Jean, Bobby + Xavier.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's going to be based on this comic:

I'm not much of an X-men fan, but that juggernaut is insanely cool.

Agreed.  Juggernaut has been one of my most-wanted figures since this line premiered.  Hasbro didn't disappoint me.

what are your thoughts on the Deep Dive?  I have yet to seem him and I am on the fence about him even when I do see him - but I am leaning towards "yes".

Also, I could have swore I heard that War Machine's head is swivel and not a ball joint - can anyone confirm either way?  If its swivel its not a deal breaker of course - the figure is awesome looking.  I just want to know.   thanks in advance.

I like the look of the Deep Dive Armor (though I haven't opened it yet).  I bought it specifically because it's different compared to the other Concept armor that is currently available.
War Machine's head is a ball joint, but as mentioned already, it's not a very good one.  His head can barely tilt.

So far I've only seen them at TRU just once, but as far as I know the official release date is in March.

That would be correct.  March 1st, to be exact.
I picked up a couple more Iron Man figures this morning from a local Target.  I used the DPCI and had them pull a case of Collection I.  I grabbed the Mark I, Mark II, and Deep Dive Armor for myself and an Iron Monger for a friend of mine.

I know that many people aren't all that excited about the Blu Ray release of the LOTR trilogy, since it is only the theatrical versions, but I noticed that Amazon has a trailer up for the release (and some scenes) in their listing.  I will say though, just watching a "trailer" for LOTR makes me miss the times when these were coming out in theatres...good stuff.  Everyone here waiting for the inevitable "extended editions" release?

I'm excited and will be buying the set.  Then, when the extended editions come out, I'll get those as well.  Who knows when that will be (probably will coincide with the theatrical release of The Hobbit).  I need my LOTR HD fix sooner rather than later.

I picked up the Mark III Iron Man, Iron Monger, Crimson Dynamo, and War Machine today at TRU.  They had the other movie, concept, and comic series figures from the initial waves, but I passed on them.  I may have to eventually get the Mark I Iron Man.

I got Venom from the 3 3/4" Spider-Man line today.  The articulation is disappointing, but the figure looks great.

I picked up the three new Comic Packs today at Target.  Only one-per-case each.  Brilliant, Hasbro.  Brilliant.

Remember last year when Ilana and Jacob's bodyguards went to the cabin and there was a break in the ash?  We've always assumed Jacob was in the cabin, but what if it was MIB / Flocke / Smoky all along and the ash was keeping him in the cabin and not out.  That means Flocke's plan and his quest for the loophole goes back much further than we've thought and he's been manipulating Ben since Ben became aware of Jacob, not knowing Jacob was in fact Flocke.

I thought about that as well, but we've seen the smoke monster all over the island.  If the "man in black" is indeed the smoke monster, then he couldn't have been trapped in the cabin.

Good thing Celebration V is in August...

What dose this mean?...

Celebration V is in Orlando.  Star Tours is in Orlando.  Celebration V is in August.  Star Tours closes in October.  If one is in Orlando for Celebration V, one would have the chance to visit Star Tours one last time before it closes down and changes.

Both teams should at least have one chance on offense.  OK ... so maybe you don't play an entire extra quarter ... maybe you shorten it, i.e. instead of 15 minutes they play 8 (or something).  That's what the NBA does.
That way, you're not just playing for a field goal attempt.

I've said it before, but I really, really hate sudden death OT.  A fantastic game like that should not be decided by a coin flip.  Oh well.

What would you do differently?

One full quarter of OT.  If the score is still tied after that, then you go to sudden death for the second OT.

For the record, I hope that Favre comes back.  If he's healthy, he's still a much better option at QB then the rest of the crap that the Vikings have.

Supposedly the new Comic Packs have already hit Targets on the west coast, so you may not be waiting for too long.

Been trying to find a good image without luck, but Halle Berry look absolutely jaw-dropping at the Golden Globes...

I think world-wide it's made $750 million so far, which is great.

It has now crossed the $1 billion mark, and is in fourth place all-time, which is ridiculous for a movie that's only been out for 17 days.
