How about forgetting about the love interest and showing more ******* robots beating the piss out of each other.

That's what I'm talking about!!

Am I the only one who really can't stand Fox to begin with?  I won't miss her.

every time I look at her I have the strangest craving for penicillin.

I've liked Lebouf since the days when my kids were watching Even Stevens.  I thought he was funny then, and have enjoyed watching him grow up as an actor.

That said...this video clip cracks me up.

one thing's for sure...those movies are infinitely rewatchable and endlessly quotable.

This is smack in the middle of my absolute busiest time at work, so at best I may be able to a Saturday drive in with my son.

Would make a good story to introduce either an Avengers movie or another Wolverine title.  I loved that issue...I may go dig it out of the boxes in the garage.

Featuring a bonus audio track from Lucas where all lightsabers are referred to a lazer swords, Han is pronounced to rhyme with Fan, and Count Dough-Koo leads the separatist army.

I know that the Hulk is very recognizable and well-known, but I just haven't been able to get into the character by himself all that much.  I really didn't care for the first movie (with Eric Bana), but like "The Incredible Hulk" pretty well.  I don't know that I'd necessarily want or need to see a sequel, but I'm ok with Hulk being a supporting character/antagonist in the Avengers franchise or something.  I don't think a reboot is necessary either.

Agreed.  I always liked it when Hulk appeared in a comic here or there, but never had enough interest to read his standalone titles.  Really, Banner doesn't even have to appear in an Avengers movie...just the Hulk would do, so there's no casting worries.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: The Apple iPhone Thread

Two things...just a few short months after getting my first iPod, I just renewed my cellular plan and upgraded to an iPhone 3GS.  So far i like it....have some nits to pick, but mostly very pleased.  As far as calendaring, email, and contacts I don't see any major functionality lost from my old Blackberry, although the lack of a "mark all read" option in email is stupid, but I'm synced over the air to my exchange server at work so my read/unread info stays in better sync than it ever did with my Blackberry.  Otherwise there's some quirks, but it sure is fun to use.

Other reason for the post....iPhone 4 leaked.

Well since the last Hulk flick already tied itself in to the Iron Man/Avengers universe, I'd definitely expect to see some Hulkage.

I redboxed Where the Wild Things are last night, and while the movie itself was...different than expected (I still liked it though) I cannot understand HOW this did not get ANY nominations.  Art direction?  Cinematography?  Effects?  Costumes?  The whole experience was gorgeous to look at. Original score? Even the acting...Jame Gandolfini's voice acting was phenomenal, and Max as a child actor who actually acts like a child?
