Might have Jesse, but I think the main reason was the articulation. Unlike Veers it didn't matter as much, because you see more Imperial Officers standing. If he had better elbow joints and knees (maybe ball-joint shoulders) I think he would have sold better that Veers even with his dinky blaster.

I think the Derlin problem was little articulation and one accessory that killed him. With a troop builder, Hasbro needs to wise up and add articulation for maximum poseability and extra accessories don't hurt ether. I hope they use the knowledge of Derlin and remedy the problems in a Echo Base Trooper.

I hope for an EU character more, but it looks like it will be Yarna or Willrow winning. Just my guess.

Fritz,
Looks good. Where did the turret come from? Funny thing is that I was thinking of using the Tumbler for a custom also. I was thinking a little more radical in design, but what you have looks perfect too. I hope you don't mind if I barrow some of your designs.

That is odd, because I haven't seen a Derlin in about three or so months and about twice as long for a Veers. The biggest pegwarmer in my area is Dofine with about 2 1/2 pegs of nothing but him. The other one is about half that with one peg of holo Mundi. If I were to take a guess at numbers I would say that about 35 Dofine and about 15 holo Mundi in every store I go into. The other figure come and go with them waiting for clearance and I wonder how much they will be cut until they move? I might get a few Dofine for fodder when the do.

Brent,
Great work. I was wondering how to make a more form fitting suit on that Twi'lek of yours and I think I have the answer. There is the stuff for material no fray or something like that. It is a liquid and you can soak or brush it on and when it dries become stiff. You might want to try it before you place it on the figure. I don't know what it would do to paint. Just an idea maybe for your next one. Other than that everything looks awesome.

That's the day I quit collecting.  :-X

So, if Hasbro were to offer a wave that consisted of this in the vintage style format, you'd quit this entire hobby that you spend so much toy runs/money/internet time on?

- VSTC ROTS Final Duel Darth Sidious
- VSTC ROTS Commander Cody (done right!)
- VSTC Qui Gon Jinn
- VSTC Mace Windu

 :)

I've been looking for a good excuse.

I agree. I would go back and focus my time on my vintage collection. I have already made big compromises in the way I collect do to the lack of figures they should have given us to begin with, so I could bail out with no questions asked.

Still, looks like some really cool vehicles. I'd LOVE to see them do this in 1:18 (3.75") scale! ;D:

You mean like G.I.Joes are supposed to be. ;) ;D What the hell were they smoking when they decided to dump the 3 3/4 line in favor of an 8 in line in the first place. ???

And then dump the 8 in line a year later in favor of a 2 1/2 in line? ??? ???

It doesnt make any damn sense at all.

I can't agree more. I would if they plan to do some of these items in the 3 3/4th line?

Think we'll get any VOTC/VSTC that never had a vintage figure made?

God, I hope not.

As others have said, not only would it go against the entire point of the retro-vintage line to begin with, but it would also free up Hasbro to put all their best work into the $10+ figures, which would make it a little easier for them to skimp on their basic line stuff.

"George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise" is retarded enough as it is; please, let's not piss on the memory of the vintage line any more than we already have.

Agree with that, enough said ;D.

Well, maybe introduce maybe a "POTC" line- Premium Original Trilogy Collection to include OT figs that didn't have a vintage release, but are in desperate need of an ultimate version of the character.

Don't give them any ideas, unless you like paying $10+ for figures that should have been the in basic line :P.

I would only dig it if they were on regular cards and priced at going basic figure price. I hope Hasbro doesn't offer non-vintage figure in the VOTC/VTSC manner, it just isn't right. But I would welcome awesome articulate (ball-joints on shoulders, elbows, and knees at least) of resculpt figures from E1-E3 and others that were never part of the vintage line that are released in the basic figure line.

That stuff is Sigma 6 line of smaller scale? Looks awesome. I might have to see if I can get some of that and come upi with in customs.

I like the concept Luke. I wonder how different Star Wars would be if Luke was a heroine. The Wookiee is awesome too. I would like to know what parts he use for them?
