Way to come back strong, Heat.  You got the split in Atlanta that you needed.

How much did you pay for Sin City?  I'm thinking about upgrading but it was $30 at Best Buy and that's too much for me to jump on a movie I already own.

It's $26.99 this week at Target.

I picked up The Wrestler and Sin City on Blu-ray today.  I also ordered the X-Men Trilogy Blu-ray from Amazon.

If I watch the films on DVD, I watch the Extended Editions.  I haven't watch the theatrical versions on DVD since the EEs were released.
The initial release of the trilogy on Blu-ray looks to be the theatrical versions.  I'll take it (for now), but it's still rather lame.

Wade is a strong candidate for MVP, and so is King James.

The Cavs are just about equally talentless as the Heat would be, if you removed James the same way you removed Wade from his squad.  Both are first round fodder without their star.

Kobe's case is not the same, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom could more than carry their team to a .500+ record.  And there are a host of other above average players there too.

Oh, I know ... but LeBron is going to win it.  The Heat don't have a good enough record for Wade to win.
At least the Cavs have another All-Star.  The Heat really don't have much.  Their most talented players are rookies.  They are good, and will get better, but they're not there yet.

I realize that the Heat don't match up well against the Hawks, but ... wow.  I couldn't even watch the whole game last night.  Watching that team completely suck ass made me realize even more why Wade should get strong MVP consideration.  If you take him off of the team, the Heat are easily the least-talented team in the playoffs.  How he managed to get them to 43 wins during the regular season baffles me.  And he played like **** last night as well.  This could be a short series if they don't make some adjustments quickly.

I guess I'll go on record here with Lakers over Cavs in the NBA Finals.

I just don't see how a healthy Lakers team with Kobe, Gasol and Bynum is going to lose a 7 game set to LeBron.

I have to agree.  In fact, I'd be completely shocked if it wasn't the Cavs and Lakers in the Finals.  Boston was the only other team that had a legit shot at the title ... until Garnett went down.  So ... though it appears that their may be some drama in the early rounds, it's going to get a bit predictable after that.

John is now 16 years old in the future.  I'd say that gives him plenty of time to "grow up" and lead the resistance.  The T-1001 just made sure that happened by jumping him through time.

And finally what the hell happened at the end? I'm not sure my understanding is correct.

John was transported to the future so he could be "introduced" to the resistance and earn his eventual leadership and legendary status.  So ... nothing has really changed.  We just now know how it happened.

i thought he was one win from tying for fourth.  How much of a gap is there to third place all time?

Gordon currently has 82 wins and is in 6th place.  Cale Yarborough is in 5th place with 83 wins.  Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip are tied for 3rd with 84 wins each.  Then you have David Pearson in 2nd with 105 wins and The King in 1st with 200 wins.

Thank God he finally won again. A few more and he can move into third place all time.

He'll get there eventually ... and I still think he has an outside shot at second place, if he drives long enough.  Of course, Petty's 200 wins is pretty much untouchable.

I picked up Iron Man, symbiote Spider-Man, Thing, and Punisher from wave 3 today at Target.  Both versions of Ms. Marvel were already gone and I left the Hand Ninja behind.

Anyone else think Lost kind of sucked the last 2 weeks?

Nope.  Lost has never sucked.  There are episodes that aren't as great as others, but even on a bad day, Lost is better than anything else on television right now.
