Eh - Galactus is only 30' tall.  Makes you wonder why he needs to eat so much.

Though I never really bought the official Marvel specs on his height.  He's routinely depicted with Silver Surfer in his hand, about the size of an action figure.  That'd make Galactus almost 4 times as tall.

They also changed Thor significantly from its original Marvel roots.  No crippled doctor tapping a stick.

I think the reason they keep failing with FF is because they can't nail Reed.  The Thing is easy.  Johnny Storm is very easy.  Sue is difficult to give much weight to, but a "strong woman" angle shouldn't be too difficult.  But Reed they keep screwing up badly.  He is the smartest man in the world, and he knows it.  He needs to be written as a patriarch.  A leader.  A beacon.  Instead he's written as wishy-washy and unconfident.  Awkward.  Maybe they're trying for the hero's journey kind of thing, and maybe it's origin-itis.  But I gotta think when Reed first strapped into his rocket, he was feeling like a god.  Not some dork who gets flustered around the ladies.

Also, when you cast a guy who looks like a high schooler in the role, it's difficult to accept that he has the gravitas of the smartest man in the world.

Reed should be Stark without the snark.  A living legend.  That might not jive with current sensibilities, but I think that's what you need to pull off the FF - a leader who the rest of the team respects and follows.

And of course, Doom needs to be the monarch of Latveria.  How hard is that to understand?

Ah - I don't think that's how they explained it in the movie.  But I'll roll with it.

MacGuffin is a random item that the characters are searching for.  Typically, you can swap out anything for the MacGuffin and the plot won't really change.  But I know what you meant - they were foreshadowing.  But it's kind of a big plot hole - if Pym Particles reduce the distance between atoms, the weight of the object should be unchanged.  You wouldn't be carrying around 10-ton tank in your pocket.

I think you're right about casting Janet Van Dyne.  I expect Hank Pym will attempt to save his wife from the Quantum Zone in Ant-Man 2, now that he's been shown a way to survive the trip.  And since time is meaningless in the QZ, they probably wanted to keep the casting options wide open.

There's a nice burn on the X-Men Origins: Wolverine version of Deadpool in the preview trailer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPZHBjyUGhQ

Both characters are played by Reynolds.  And given that Deadpool has the unique superpower of knowing he's a character in a comic book (and we assume, a movie), and routinely breaks the fourth wall, it has the potential to get ridiculously meta.

I think you could probably reason with the time travel stuff that went on in Days of Future Past that the Weapon X program that developed Wolverine and Deadpool in Origins never existed.  As I understand it, Deadpool does exist in the Fox X-Universe.

What are you running now?

The initial reports I read were that the first release is a bit buggy.  You have 1 year to download it for free.  I'm gonna wait a bit until it's patched, and my employer confirms I can use it to remote in to work.

Look up the history of the card, then look at her expression.

They call him Golden Rod for a reason...

Not CGI:

I do agree it's kind of odd to redeem your worst villains before they've ever been villains on-screen.  But then the whole premise of the Snyderverse Batman is that he's retired after years of successfully taking down criminals.

So this movie won't have anything to do with Suicide Squad?

Same universe.  And Batfleck is in both.  Otherwise, no known connections.

Yeah - that was my initial idea.  As I understand it, Lex is the main (maybe only) baddie in this movie.

I figured the Joker costume thing was showing maybe why Bruce quit.
