Yes, it is frustrating when you browse through the assortment breakdowns (see entertainmentearth.com for case breakdowns).
The SA clone must cost Hasbro a lot more to produce (compared to "regular" NA figures) for the simple fact that he constitutes a very small percentage of the 3-4 assortments he's in.
Hasbro has GOT to know that there is a lot of demand for this figure (based on the reponse from the SA AOTC clone trooper AND secondary price this figure commands).
The same "logic" applies to most Unleashed figures. The popular figures are still packed 2 per case (Vader, stormie, Fett, etc.).

Ughh, the ESB wave didn't even ship here to Iowa - everyone was clogged to the brim with wave one.
I had to pick up the ESB wave online and the ROTJ wave in some small podunk town for $13 a piece!
And then TRU got some in a few months later!

I'm missing the Target clone and TRU Jedi starfighter (don't know if I'll even buy it).
And to be quite honest, I could give a **** less about the Target clone - I keep exclusives carded but I'm sick of paying out the ass for special rehits.
With that being said, I'll probably pick him up if I happen to come across him, but I'm not gonig to bust my ass driving to Target everyday...

Wave 3 could be a solid pack of 3 pack clones and I don't think anyone would complain.
And why won't Hasbro offer EE.com (or anyone else for that matter) an exclusive solid case pack of SA ROTS clone troopers!!??
These things are going for 3X retail on ebay and I KNOW there won't be any extras on the pegs around here...

Yeah, the initial shipment is always the largest (and sits the longest) so why not ship the clone 3 packs, Vader table, and jet pack clonie first?
Past experience has taught us that regular figures with one gimmick do not sell as delux-o figures!!

On second thought, it is insane.
$224 for a figure made just a few years ago and looks pretty darn close to the recently released "masked" version??!!
I'd much rather have a C8 MOC SW Vader from the good ol days....

I'm sure I speak for a lot of us when I say we really appreciate the contests! This sure is a fun little community that is more enjoyable that other "coporate" run fan sites that only give a **** about money.

The new Insider magazine has mention of a third Evolution set tentatively titled "Evolution of the Sith."
It includes Maul, Dooku and the Emperor. Maul and Dooku look like kit bashed figures but the Emperor looks to be all new.
There's also a great picture of the clone / stormie set.
Pix are present so it must be true!
