All vintage figures could have improved considerably with the white part of the eye (sclera) depicted on our first toys.
If toy technology have let it, figures could have had belts and holsters in different colors than pants.
One thing the vintage Han Solo accomplishes is a ready position for shotting, also when the figure is stand without rising his blaster arm. The curvature of his legs suggests Han is ready to make a sprint, a fall, roll or run to use his blaster.
One way to show this attitude in this character was the 25th anniversary Han Solo (Potj), which came with Chewie in a similar pose.
