I think they could retain the ball-joint shoulders with the removable arms. It would be a little more work, but is all possible.

The other figure I can think that Hasbro did that is like this idea of two sets of arms is the OTC Dagobah Luke. Now only if they had articulation would it have been almost perfect.

Awesome job on Tarful. Looks much better than the short Hasbro version. With the paint the parts look great together and you get the heighth, just how he should be IMO.

No problem Chewie, just don't let it happen again lol. Awesome looking me if I don't say so myself lol. Looks great Chewie. Now I need to find a Momaw Nadon. The arms and helmet look too clean on the rest of the Rykrof though. I like the bandolier on him and the uses of the light blue highlights. They both look awesome overall.

I will be attending Comic Con with my company and be working at the RC2 booth. I will see if I can get extras for the JD forum members, you guys will be welcome if I secure some. I am sure I will be able to trade some swag for some troopers.

I feel the same way about the army builder pack. That would be too cool if they offered 4 VOTC Stormtroopers for that $20 some odd price. They would go like hot cakes.

I probably want one... but really the English writing on the banner and the chest emblem look silly to me. I'd rather see it in Aurebesh (or whatever it's called).

 

No, I think the writing is odd looking also. I would have like it if they done away with the chest emblem. I don't remember seeing any Stormtroopers from the 501st with that chest emblem from any comics, books, etc.

Just FYI Brians Toys has this up for pre-order on their website (under exclsuvie figures in the Saga2 section) Its like 39.99 though. Just wanted to let you guys know.

That price is just ridicules. They are only priced at $15 or something like that at the comic con. Brians Toys is nothing more than a scalper with a website. I would never buy something from him even if I couldn't find it anywhere else.

What's funny is you can't even compare the level of work 21st puts into theirs with Hasbro too.  People don't realize that everything from materials to the simple number of parts is superior on 21st stuff too... 

Yes, I know you are right on that. I guess I was giving Hasbro too much credit again, thinking with just more effort they could be as good . Slap me out of my dream world . Maybe one day, but I don't see it happening in my life time.
