In related news, I got an e-mail from his mom, and even she doesn't like him.

You know Vicki too?!   8)

Know her?

Let's just say. . .  I'm her baby daddy.

You guys are almost acting as if this "GNT throws a hissy about being quoted in someone's sig" thing is some kind of new phenomenon.

No--this same type of sh!t happened last summer/fall, when at least three other people (myself, jjks, and OCB) had (mostly) harmless Gregggggg quotes in their sigs.

Of course, since he spends more time posting than actually reading, it took him a while to catch on, but as soon as he did, the PM's and threats of "total signature removal" started.

Just like the GH thing with him--he feels like he's getting picked on (which he is, but which he also deserves), but rather than being cool about it and playing along, he chooses to take his ball and go home.  Which, of course, is just a feeding frenzy.

Personally, I have no problem with someone else quoting me in their sigs (and vice versa), but it's more than obvious that Greggggggg is incredibly sensitive about anything said about him--you get the feeling that he knows he sucks, but just doesn't want anyone else to "know" it.

It'll never happen, but he should really take a break from the internet for a year or two to grow up--drink some beer, bang some guys girls, and get into some trouble, like the 18-year-olds are supposed to do.  Like I said, no chance of that happening--no chance of him maturing or becoming "cool" or anything--but he should.

In related news, I got an e-mail from his mom, and even she doesn't like him.

But I love him.

I'm AngryEwok, *****.

Edit - so much for that Chappelle imitation.

I'm Rick James, b!tch!

What did the five fingers say to the face?!?!

SLAP!

I wondered how long it'd be before some Chappelle quotes made their way over here.

(And, truth be known--I haven't even seen the Rick James episodes in person--I only know them from online references. . .)

I suck.

Hard.

. . .And you were wondering why I referred to you as a "sick bastard" a few pages back.

Hell, man--I was proud of you for a little bit there--posting a pic of a woman who was a little closer to your age. . .

Been there, done that.

If you dare, visit the bottom of Page 24, and you'll see why I've chosen to quote Morgbug here.

Love Shared, again.

(And to make this a more substantial post, I'll type up the bio from the back of the new Artoo card:

During a daring mission to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, R2-D2 and C-3PO were sent into the Hutt's palace on Tatooine, where they became the grisly crime lord's property.  Artoo served as a waiter, distributing drinks aboard Jabba's sail barge.  Little did any of the criminal dregs suspect that the droid carried in him Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, which he launched to the unarmed Jedi, who went on to rescue himself and his friends.)

No interest in Chappelle's Show, apparently, but Mattttttt and Scottttttt--I think I might have just sent you guys Love on it (and the GN'R videos DVD) anyway, because you're my Amazon Butt Buddies or whatever.

On the GN'R note--Scott, want to STL on the Illusion I & II DVDs?  Or do you already have them?

They're like $13.48 each or something now, which I guess after the STL would bring them to $12.14 each, or $24.28 for both, which would put it just under the $25 Free Shipping thing, but if you ordered something else, you'd be good.

Let me know (and anyone else that may be interested, too) (which is pretty much going to limit it to Matt, since we're the only people participating in this pathetic thread. . .)

Twelve hours and one-hundred and seventy-five bucks later, I'm the proud owner of two front-row-on-the-floor tickets to see a concert by a man who hasn't put out a decent record in well over a decade!

Woo-hoo!

For several reasons, I don't want to post to the most current GNT-bashing thread, but this little nugget of joy from Angry Ewok was just too precious to not comment on:

"I'm God, so live with it."[/size]-Greg(g), GNT

Good times.

Gregggggggggggggggg--I know you're reading--I love you.

Prince, formerly known as an unpronouncable symbol.   ;D

Yeah, well, the man may be cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but he's made some excellent music over the past twenty-five years. . .

I've seen Aerosmith in person once, and during which, I threw a ketchup packet that glanced off Steven Tyler's cheek.

Now, normally, I'd be ashamed of throwing something at an artist--but that's something that Steven Tyler hasn't been since 1976. . .

But, yeah.  Prince tickets go on sale here in about nine hours--I'm doing some big-time flip-flopping on whether or not to pick any up.  Used to be a huge fan, only saw him once, about six years ago, but since then, have lost almost all interest in the man. . .

So. . .  How far would you go to see your favorite band?

WILCO:

APR-21 COLUMBIA, MO - The Blue Note
APR-23 NEW ORLEANS, LA - Orpheum
APR-24 AUSTIN, TX - Stubb's BBQ
APR-27 SANTA FE, NM - The Lensic Theatre
APR-28 FLAGSTAFF, AZ -  The Orpheum Theatre
APR-29 TUCSON, AZ - Rialto Theatre
MAY-01 INDIO, CA - Coachella
JUN-11 MANCHESTER, TN - Bonnaroo

Thanks, guys, for yet another year of not playing Oklahoma--continuing your six-year-plus streak.

True, we may be the armpit of America, but throw us a f--king bone, will ya?

Now to decide which direction to travel 500 miles in to see these guys. . .
