Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Customs by Darth Delicious

Sweet looking Nihlus!!! I really wish this guy had a bigger part in the game. :( It is really too bad they finished it early.

His mask is actually flatter on the top half, but there isn't much you can do about that, short of resculpting the upper half of the hood. It looks fine the way it is, :)

These are sweet!

I remember seeing them somewhere awhile back but I don't remember who made them.

The Nazi/Empire connection makes a lot of sense, because that is partly who the Empire was originally modeled
after.

It turned out sweet DD!!!  :)

I think that I may have choosen a different sword though, something less modern looking. You did a great job with that one but it doesn't seem like a Wookiee would use one like that. Maybe try a LOTR sword or sratch build one.

And not to be nitpicky but It looks like you missed some of the tips on the back of the head, you can still see the original colors showing, and since you don't have them anywhere else I don't think it is part of thecolor scheme.

It's been so long since I've posted anything I felt I should :P ::)

It isn't much but this is an insert I'm working on for my SG-1 customs. I have quite a few more but I'll only post this one.

Comments and critiques are welcome. :)

Looking good CHEWIE!!! :)

These ROTS Figures sure do have great bodies hidden under all the robes.  :)

My only suggestion is to add something to Chornn if he isn't supposed to be a Jedi then he looks too much like one. Maybe a bandolier or holster or something, it doesn't need to be anything major, just something  not very Jedi like. I think you can get away with leaving Traeden Cusiro the way he is because of the collar, not many Jedi have collars like that and Kit's inner robes are a bit different, but Chornn  looks too Jedi-ish the way he is.

I don't think I can compare to these other guys but I'm here if you need me too :)

I think it be kind of cool if occasionally you had a guest writer. They could write an episode, send you the script and you make the actual novel based on that script (you would have the final say whether or not it is what you are looking for, of course. ) So I guess it'd be somewhat similar to Lance's interactive novel but instead of everyone contributing at once some people would get more of a say as to what happens. Just thought I'd throw that out there and see what you think. :)

Visually stunning! And A decent episode. There wasn't a lot of excitement, which isn't a bad thing. It is good to see Rykrof not be at the center of everything and almost die in every mission. It does make it seem more realistic. The Jungle looked really cool, one of the best sets yet.  I really liked the Republic ship as well it is cool how it is starting to look more like the Empire's ships. :) Someone, I believe it was Lance said that you could skip chapter 10 and go straight from 9 to 11 and not miss anything. I kinda agree, not much happens here to significantly advance the plot and it doesn't seem like it will have much if any affect on the overall outcome of the story. But I think that this is a good thing to have from time to time. The audience needs a chance to catch their breath every once and awhile. I think that's what makes Stargate SG-1 such a great show (sorry going off on a tangent here :P) There are lots of action packed episodes with the main characters right at the brink of death and destruction  but every so often they throw in a comical or less exciting show that doesn't have much impact on the overall plot, which seems to be what you are doing. If this were to be a short series then you could get away with making every episode action packed but since we are in this for the long haul it is nice to have a little break as a reader. You do have to be careful not to make to many lighter episodes though, or it will take away from the sense of urgency and the CW won't seem as big. Keep in mind we can hold our breaths for awhile. ;) :)

Keep it up! I'm looking forward to the next installment! ;D

Looking good JK!!! I'm glad Saesee is such a bad ass!!! The ROTS pics had almost ruined him for me, he looks like an overweight woman in ROTS.  ::) Glad to see he is as bad-ass as I though he was back during AOTC and the CW. ;D He looks sweet with 2 sabers. One thing I found was a bit confusing was the scene where the security forces arrive, does Greivous think they are on his side or does he know the Republic aren't going to commit their forces to the planet? Oh and I did find one typo that you may want to fix when Saesee is talking to the pilot he says "I assumed WE was lying" I think you meant "I assumed HE was lying." It is just a minor little detail though. Keep up the great work! It is really cool hhow you are doing so much with so little space! ;D

I second that! :) Good to see the story continue here! I'll get to the others and read/reply there as soon as I can.

I actually don't have any SW customs planned in the immediate future. I've got a list of over 100 Stargate SG-1 customs I'd like to do though. I've got Customs cards made for a lot of them, but I'll probably only get through some of them this summer, but it is nice because most will use the same parts some I can make most of them from casts. I also started on my scale SGC base dio/playset this spring break. I haven't been able to work on them since then though, stupid school ruins everything! ::) >:( ;) On the bright side I've only got like 4 weeks before I can start working on them again :)  I won't be able to stay away from SW customizing for long though, I have a very short atttention span, so I'll probably make a few more Wookiees and Clones. :)

CHEWIE - They are looking fantastic!!!

I lovvvvve the Tarful. He is so much better lloking. And it is cool that he has more articulation, when I got mine I assumed it was the same as the preview Wook and damn near torn his leg off trying to move it. ::) :P It really is amazing how much one of your paint jobs can improve a figure. He improved ten fold.

The Mandalorian is really sweet! That body is fantastic, I need to get myself several more. :)

The gotal looks pretty good as weel, I agree he may be a bit bland color wise, but he still looks great!

Just out of curiosity how much do you pend per year on Star Wars? You always seem to have toons of every figure and tons more for customizing, I am extremely jealous. ;) :)

Looking good DD!!!

For the sword, I'd go with a wooden handle as well. As for the balde I'd go with a reddish-silverish-blackish-brown drybrushing, to try and make it look like it has seen some battle and blood over the years. Tealish silver might make it seem like it just sat around getting tarnished on his mantle. But CHEWIE is usually right about this kind of stuff, so don't listen to me. ;) :)
