This is one line I am never going to stop. I'm more excited about these Titanium's than I am about any figures. I'm not collecting the figures anymore, but if I had to choose between the two, Titanium would win out.

On that note, after having a great find last week in my Super Wal-Mart, I decided to order a case of 2008 Wave 1 and 2 instead of trying to find them all in the store. I'm actually getting these cases for less than retail even with shipping and I've already found someone to split them with. Between the awesome lower price, not having to go the store and....probably getting them before they hit stores...I'm excited. ;D

The last MR helmet was just announced. They will be doing a 750 piece production of the Shadow Utapau Trooper bringing the total number of Clone helmets to eight.

I would have much rather had an OT helmet, but I'll certainly pick this one up to complete the set.

The Shadow Utapau Trooper LE Helmet has been cancelled, but on that note, I've been charged for my Stormtrooper LE Helmet and it's "Pending Shipment"! This is going to be quite the nice Christmas present.  :D

I got my shipping notice for the "Look Sir, Droids" piece. It should be here on Monday. I'm really hoping this thing looks as good as the pictures I've seen.

Do or do not. There is no try.   ;)

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

Ray Park has been added to the line up.

The more I sit and stare at the 98 Titanium ships on my wall, the more I love this line. I hope Hasbro keeps it going forever. I was trying to figure out which ships I still needed to have a "complete" collection and it's not very many. I never did get one of the Gold Celebration III X-Wing's or the Toy Fair Darth Vader's TIE Advanced X1 Fighter. Other than that, I've got every single other one. Eventually I'll get those two, it's just a matter of finding them at a fair price.

What is with all the title sponsors leaving all the sudden? First it was Winston, then Busch and now Craftsman after 2008! I just can't believe that these companies don't want their name up on high. The amount of revenue generated by sponsorship deals is just incredible, but they always say things like "we just felt like we needed to go in a different direction". Okay...what other way could you possibly get that much exposure?

Oh well, here's to a great 2008 Sprint Cup, Nation Wide and Craftsman series season.

Alright! I just picked up the following ships:

ARC-170 Starfighter (Green)
Imperial V-Wing Starfighter
Shadow AT-AT
AT-ST (Hoth)
Trade Federation AAT (Brown)
Darth Vader's TIE Advanced X1 Starfiighter (White)
Blizzard Force Speeder Bike

I believe that makes me 100% current! Thank the maker.

Well, I was just told by a realiable source that these were pushed back a few weeks.  :-[ Strange how RS reported just two days ago that they would be shipping out next week.

476
Yes, I got mine too. It's certainly possible that we could get these by Christmas, but I'm not going to be surprised at all if we don't. The reason I say this is because it's exactly 15 business days until Christmas. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I have all my Sideshow stuff shipped through UPS. I think they deliver on Saturday's during the Christmas season, but it's still going to be pushing it.

If I get him, awesome present. If not, what a way to bring in the new year!  :D

TESB Darth Vader is shipping this week! I generally don't collect GG stuff, but this one was a must buy for me. It will look great next to my GG Slave Leia.  :P Since I dropped Hasbro, pieces like this are becoming more and more appealing. Instead of collecting an entire line of plastic action figures, having a few of these is much better for me. They don't take up as much space and they are absolutely beautiful.

478
Cool, I'm glad you guys were able to get Sideshow to ship them out. It sucks being the last person to get something. Everyone else is enjoying their stuff and you just have to look at the pictures. :-\

Makes me wonder though, how many other people are in the same situation.

My girlfriend ordered this one for me becuase i was busy at work. She has not mentioned anything about getting e-mails. I am afraid to ask becuase she may be intentionally avoiding the issue and include it as part of my Xmas gift. What to do?  :-\

Oh man....that's tuff.  :-\ I guess you have to just stay silent on this one.

Sorry to hear that you haven't gotten that magic email yet Beth. Hopefully soon!

Anyone going to the 2008 F/X Show in Orlando, FL? I'm hearing that it's going to be an extremely good show in January. They've got one heck of a line up for guests and there's supposed to be a whole lot more tables then there was this year. There is a large group of us that will be going between various forums as well as several members from the Tampa Star Wars Collectors Club. Timothy Zahn and Peter Mayhew almost always make it out for this show, so I'm surprised to not see them on the list, although they could always be added at a later date.

Official Website

Here's a run down of the guests they've got so far:

Nicholas Brendon - Nicholas is best known for his role as 'Xander Harris' on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He has appeared in several other movies and television series, including "Psycho Beach Party", "Kitchen Confidential" and will be appearing in 2 films to be released in 2008. He was also the honorary chairperson for the Stuttering Foundation of America from 2001-2003 and continues to raise money for the organization.

Erik Estrada - Best known for his role as 'Ponch' on the TV series "CHiPs", Erik has appeared in dozens of movies and made guest appearances on many TV shows, often appearing as himself, including "The Surreal Life" and "Armed & Famous". Additionally, he gave his voice to the character 'Marco Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar Gabriel Garcia Marquez' on Adult Swim's "Sealab 2021".

Greg has appeared in such films as "Hollowman" and "Mission Impossible: III". He is active in helping raise money for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project, as his oldest son suffers from epilepsy.

Jake Lloyd - Jake is most widely recognized for his role as the young 'Anakin Skywalker' in "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace". He also appeared in the films "Jingle All The Way" and "Unhook the Stars". Now a college freshman, Jake is reportedly studying Film and Video. He is the only American actor to have ever played the role of Anakin.

Jason Mewes - Jason is most recognized for his recurring role as 'Jay' to Kevin Smith's 'Silent Bob' in "Clerks", "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy", "Dogma", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" and most recently "Clerks II". He has appeared in several other non-Kevin Smith films as well, including "The Tripper" and has reportedly stated that his dream is to appear as a superhero in a film.

Her awards include Best Actress at the AFI for "The Young Girl and the Monsoon" and Best Supporting Actress at the Japanese Film Festival for "Dolores Claiborne" in which she made her screen debut.

Elisabeth Rohm - Elisabeth is most recognized for her role as 'Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn' on "Law & Order" from 2001-2005.
