I intend to plaster over both the foam core and the wood with some texture and paint them the same color. I think that way they will look very simular. I just went with the foam so I would be able to handle the cuts easier.

I've decided not to use wood for the front wall. It's made out of foam core simular to the construction of Brent's buildings. I've bought a number of styrfoam balls that I will cut in half for domes that will go all around the top of the walls. All the walls will be painted in a rock-like finish simular to Brent's buildings. Black plastic H sticks will act like gerders. Finally, I'll spray paint some comtech chips for kibble. I just need to figure out how to do the gate. I would like to make one that opens and closes.

That's a good idea Anthony. Wednesday night the setup crew will go there. For maybe a saturday dinner/meeting we could go to the city walk or even down to Santa Monica near the beach. I just wanted to pick out a unique touristy place that we locals typically don't go to all the time. I don't know if anyone wants to drive down to the Disneyland resort for dinner at the ESPN Zone on a saturday?

Thursday, May 24 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday, May 25 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday, May 26 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, May 27 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Monday, May 28 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

I would like to see four hour shifts. This means that you need to be at the booth during those times and no wondering off beyond bathroom breaks. Your free to bring food and water with you during your times. Please sign up here for each available time slot.

Don't know about parking. As far as I know, Frank will let us in thru the loading docks to unload. As for parking, booth location or any other details, LFL is completely mute about all details. Hell, I don't even know if I need to buy a stinking pass. I would assume we are at the bottom on Gencon's and LFL list of priorities. Nothing has changed on their site regarding C4 in the past five months.


So that basically this means that Anthony will come by my house on wednesday and help load up everything and get the camping supplies ready. We will meet Famine and Ryan at the convention center.

Ok. Let me get this straight. The four boxes Chewie set are not these wall segments. I shouldn't do any cutting to the boxes Chewie sent. Just texture them and paint them.  Correct?

For these, I need to hand make these three new segments for the front wall. Right?

Has the specs for this wall changed? Right now, I have four sanded down boxes of various lengths and it seems to spec has changed. Can I get one definitive version of the spec before I put these boxes under my midder saw? Personally, I would rather leave them uncut and just add some texturing, paint and some little accessories.

Please come up with one spec and send it to me.

I've found that if you write fragile on the box, you are guaranteeing it will be bashed up. Also, if you write, this side up, it will end up on its side or upside down. Things arrive well as long as you put enough padding in the box no matter what way it ends up on my doorstep.

It depends on how psycho you are about soaking up every waking moment of the glory that is C4 that you can't stop for a couple of hours to sit back and relax and enjoy the company of equally sick people that buy little plastic men only to rip them apart and put them back together in some kind of weird Frankinstein-like mockery and then post them on web sites for total strangers to ooggle over and complain that no toy company makes the kind of toys grown adults would want to keep mint on card and store them in their attic.
