Don't do it, Robo!! Don't give into the dark side of Kubricks!!

Where's Jeff? He's always trying to get me hooked... I think he's even trying to find a DS Gunner to tempting me into this habit hobby.  ;) Someday he'll catch me at a weak moment and bam... I'm screwed.

Ha!
I agree!
Once you start there is no going back.
I gave up on being a completest a long time ago, now I just keep a few cool ones, but I just can't stop cold turkey.

I used JD as a template, so this may help.
Its good to know ratios.
It might be best to buy past series by the series, try to get at least the basic six then the chase figures, I guess the same can be said for future series as well or you can buy a Master Case or a box of 12, but be aware (especially on ebay) when you buy boxes of 12, chances are that it will not have any chase figures in it because the boxes of 12 that had them have already been pulled from the case.
Most 1:48 (or 1:96) figures go for $100 or more.

Basic Series come in cases of 48.

As far as the 1:48 figures go...the pattern as of late is that you get one or the other in your case, not both! (This is for anyone new or anyone who has not paid attention! ) There was a pattern with certain series as far as which one you could expect in your case depending on if it was from Japan or Hong Kong, but as of late I think its been totally random.

As far as 2:48 or 3:48 Figures go...they will all be in the same box of 12 NOT spread throughout the case of 48.

Kubricks / Re: 2007 Medicom Collector Club Box Set
« on: April 20, 2007, 06:36 PM »
This is what I was told:

"Medicom Toy reduced new Kubrick of Star Wars product numbers this time and
All of Wholesale stores of toys are troubling by it."

Things sometime get lost in translation, so I don't think to hard about it.
We just discuss stuff and to be honest we sometimes misunderstand each other.

We will get a better feel about what this might mean once Robby starts to take orders.
If he dishes out the same amount he always does or doesn't mention lower #s then what I was told won't mean much.

Unless we see a drop in what ebay and yahoo Japan have to offer, just have to wait and see.
I honestly don't think this will amount to much but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

I'm hoping there is announcement of Series 8 shortly as well...I'm hoping this boxset (with the Snowtrooper) that's been announced doesn't turn into Series 8. ...

My friend in Japan told me Series 8 will be announced this month, also that Medicom cut back on the #s, at least that's what their shop said .

I wish 3PO was carded too, would look great next to the Droids R2 & Fett.

I opened both Fett and R2 and put them in Medicom Display case, I have an empty one waiting for 3-po.
They looks snazzy in those.

Indy, he was a big surprise.  8)

Yup, I'd say Indy comes in second for me.
I just had to have the Cartoon Fett, it was the one that really sucked me in.

I know its hard...but if you had to pick just one, what would it be?

I'll go with The Cartoon Boba,
He looks even better when you open him and throw him into a Display case.

Good stuff.

Mine's bigger than hers and has a job, both helpful in this case.  And yeah, my friend has been downright amazing of late between Kubricks and Gentle Giant.

And like Honorius, I'm bragging, though I should know better, but I wasn't expecting to see an email this morning with a picture of my new acquisition waiting to be shipped.  I know I didn't ask him to go to the show, so I was hoping he could hook up online with Blister.jp or something a little later on.  This was way, way sooner than expected so I had to mention it.  Saving $$ while spending $$.

That is always good.
I hope mine can get a few April Box sets so i have some to go to friends.
There is at least one figure in the set people I know want, be it Yoda the Snowtrooper or the 3-po.

IMO The RAH looks better than the SS Premium, I can't put a finger on it, but it just looks better to me.

But whatever floats your boat I guess.

Like what was mentioned above the Koto and the GG Bust (I only know of the very first one) are both amazing as well.
If I was to pick, I would rather the RAH...but then again the Cartoon Statue of Fett is amazing as well!

As the Fett Turns...

When does the RAH Boba hit ?

I think June is when its released in Japan.

That will be nice for people who care about having everything in scale, for me it does not matter because I won't buy the Sideshow stuff, I don't think they will be able to touch what Medicom has done so far.
Although I do look forward to seeing what they do, they could make a cool Sandtrooper and have me in a second.
I hope Medicom makes a Snowtrooper at some point.

Don't get me wrong about Sideshow, I love some of the things I've seen from them as far as the 12 inch line.
The Maul is amazing.
I do think the Luke Jedi looks a bit like Corky though.

I just can't see the Fetts being anywhere near the RAH, but for some people what Sideshow offers will be just fine because of scale and price, and I'm sure they will look good.
