Well it's not like the movies released this year have been worth going to the movie theater for...

Cool backstory and custom, Kev! I like it, definately has a Star Wars feel. He also sounds like some kind of precurser to Grievous. I really like Terr's colors too. Good job!

Ah, that's cool. They looked like some sort of swamp trooper. I really like their paintjobs!

Man, those are nice. Can't wait to see them in action!

Also, how do you get the shoulder pad off of the AT-TE Gunner?

Revenge of the Sith / Sam's Club Exclusives?
« on: August 21, 2005, 02:46 PM »
I'm not sure how accurate this piece of news is, since it comes from another site, but I feel it may be worth sharing anyway.

Anyway, they're saying that this fall, Sam's will be getting two exclusive sets. The first is a repackaged Mustafar playset with 4 Clones. The types of Clones are not yet known. The second is an ARC-170 with 3 Clone Pilots and an Astromech droid. Both sets will be $30.

IF this is true, I'm definately getting the ARC, possibly the Mustafar set too, depending on what Clones they pack in.

Ugh. At least put in some figures people may want to buy, like the Jedi vs. Sith set... ::)

Those are really cool! I really like the Jedi Master, with the Sith Apprentice coming in second. Also, what kinds of troops are those supposed to be?

CHEWIE: Thanks! I wanted to make some good figures based off big New Republic people, and I think they came out great as well. I'm hoping that Katarn won't disappoint!

JediKnight760071: Thanks!

Professor: Thanks! I really like how well Kyle and Mon came out. The Rodian head is Greedo's, which you can find in the Mos Eisley Cantina set.

The starfighter is just something I built one night, wanting Trideeno to have a starfighter of its own for defense purposes. I had never seen that mini-rig until now. Very neat! I'm just going to say its a wierd coincidence.

And yes, The Sith Revelations is a photonovel, which can be found in the Photonovels section at the top of the Customs section. Here are the links just in case:

TSR Pt. 1 - Assault on Briff
TSR Pt. 2 - A Deadly Inauguration
TSR Pt. 3 - Voyage to Trideeno

Dressel Jr.: Ha! It used to hold popcorn, now it holds my 3-3/4' weapons and accessories. :)

Thanks for replying!

Holy God, those are AWESOME! That's top notch work there. My only gripe is that Luke's face has a different color than his body. Other than that, I love it!

But wow, the Leia and Han are flawless! I really like that holster on Han. Amazing!

Excellent job!

The Wookiee Arcade / Re: Battlefront II!!!!

 ;D

Well I just got done with an hour or so of playing. HOLY **** is all I have to say.

First I did a game on Utapau. It's a lot of fun. Droids are the same as the last game, but you can play as a Magnaguard instead of a pilot. There is a different Clone for each position (sharpshooter, grunt, etc.). I can't remember which helmets go with which commanders though, which really stinks. So I'll try to take a screencap later. The kinds of Clones I remember are 501st and Bacara grunts. Shocktroopers, regular white Clones, and Utapau grunts were not included. If you do really well, then it asks you if you want to play as a Hero character (Obi-Wan for Republic, Grievous for CIS). WOW. They're awesome. I only played as Grievous, but... wow. I'm really speechless. He can just mow down troops. Grievous can also make quick work of vehicles, but it takes a few minutes.

Then, I found a few rooms with the space battles. SPACE. BATTLES. ARE. AWESOME. My God, where to begin? Everyone starts off in the hangar of their side's ship. This was Republic vs. CIS, so it was the Invisible Hand vs. a Star Destroyer. There's also a IGBC ship flying around, but it doesn't do anything.

Now in the CIS docking bay are 2 Tri-Fighters and 2 Droid Starships. Republic has Obi-Wan's and Anakin's Jedi Starfighters (from the Battle of Coruscant), an ARC fighter, and a V-Wing. If you can't get to a ship, you can go and control a turret and try and blast the ships. This is rather boring though. Now, in the starfighters, you have to go inside the enemy's ship and land. After landing, you have to go in and destroy the defense shield. This is something like destroying the Hoth shield generator in BF1. This shuts down all of the turrets. THEN, you have to go in and destroy the shield generator. Again, this is like the Hoth generator in BF1. After you do this, you win. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME STUFF!

My God, if they could add more starfighters to the space battles, it would absolutely kick ass.I can't wait for the full version!

Star Wars Action Figures / Diddly's Customs - Updated 6/17/06
« on: August 20, 2005, 10:25 PM »
Okay, I've had a few Lego customs laying around, so I thought I'd share them! I have yet to customize any Hasbro figs (unless cutting off the leg connector of R5-D4 counts :P), but I'm gaining an interest every day. So perhaps I'll be posting some Hasbro customs someday. :)

Here are a few Lego customs I've done. Since taking pics of individual figures up close is so hard, I had to leave the pics kind of big, so I'll leave links to them.

First up, as seen in TSR: A Deadly Inauguration - Mon Mothma!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/DiddlySquat/monmothma.jpg

Next, we have the first of several sneak peeks of upcoming items in The Sith Revelations. Here is Rodian Jedi Master Ernid Ottet.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/DiddlySquat/rodianjedi.jpg

And the third and final figure for the update, and another sneak peek of future events in TSR, straight out of the Jedi Knight series, Kyle Katarn!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/DiddlySquat/kylekatarn.jpg

And now, we have the ship "shown" in TSR: Voyage to Trideeno, the Trideeno Starfighter.

And finally, a sneak peek at the next part of TSR, a shot of the WIP entrance chamber of Robilus Dralco's mansion.

And here's a close up of the design on the floor:

Hope you guys enjoy! :)
