I wonder if the wings will be cloth. That would make it worth the $10. But if it's plastic, it'll feel a little cheap.

Like it matters, I'm buying one anyway. :)

It's cool. They actually kinda sucked anyways.

You might want to hit your local KB's if you still have 'em. The last of the red cards are being blown out. No Snakes.

And there's a mean thread at the .org finally confirming the worst fears of MOTU collectors. It's completely dropped at the retail level. (Like it wasn't obvious from the complete lack of peg space at major retailers.)

So, unless Mattel kisses a lot of ass at Toy Fair, it's over.

If it's in Indy again, I'll be there.

You'll know me when you see me: six feet tall, blonde, Adonis lookalike... :)

I'd like to find Wave 1c, as I'm looking for the Throne Room figures on decent cards, not to mention a brown coat Han Hoth.

Someone at TNI suggested replacing Jedi Luke's hand with the plastic pegged version of the Saga Bespin Luke's hand. I haven't tried it as I don't have a plastic pegged Luke, but I'm throwing the idea out there in case someone wants to try it.

When I click the Back button on my browser, it backs up two pages sometimes. I'm guessing I need a new mouse on that one.

I'm also having a problem where every time I open a new window, Internet Explorer encounters a 'problem' and needs to close. WTF?

$425 rent
$233 car payment
$112 car insurance
$30 phone
$40 cable
$50 student loans

$890 total.

Health insurance is taken care of by my employer.

Whatever's left I eat and do ill-advised spending with. I save some, but clearly not as much as I'd like. Between this thread and the Collector's Challenge, I'm seriously reconsidering  my spending habits.

My job satisfaction,eh? :o

Anyway,my ''job'' sucks.I'm a student,I have no freedom,I have no free speech, most of my teachers have no bloody idea what they're talking about, and you have to take idiotic tests.Yeah,my legally required job sucks.

However, the only good thing about my ''job'' is the fact that I can hang out with my friends for awhile,oh and piss off a couple of teachers in the process. Now that fun.

Whatever you do, don't drop out, man. Seriously. That's why I'm at where I am today, because I dropped out of college. It doesn't get you **** but regrets.

I assume you're still in high school, right? Free speech there is rare.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: How's Star Wars Selling in Your Area?
« on: January 21, 2004, 01:19 AM »
Retailers here went light on the Clone Wars. All you can find now is Obi-Wan and Mace at K-Mart and some Deluxes at TRU.

Target is swamped with Hoth Troopers, R-3PO, and te second Dignitary. They went a little nuts on the Hoth wave, but still managed to receive the Tatooine wave. They've got a bunch of Clone Wars animated, and I hope they sell before the next wave shows, but I doubt it.

Wal-mart, last time I checked, was still d---ing around with their reset. Didn't have much in the way of SW or LOTR, so I haven't been there in about a week.

TRU gets the Tatooine wave about once a week. Frightening regularity.

I swear, if it doesn't relate to Star Wars or devolve into a flame war, those RS ******* don't like it. Isn't much better here.

Last one tonight.

A Redheaded mom walks into her daughter's room, finds a beer bottle and says, "I never knew my daughter drank!"

A Brunette walks into her daughter's room, finds a pack of cigarettes and says, "I never knew my daughter smoked!"

A Blond mom walks into her daughter's room and finds a condom.
She says, "I never knew my daughter had a penis!"

And, because I haven't yet pissed off the few females here already:

After spending time with Eve, Adam was walking in the Garden with God. Adam told God how much the woman means to him and how blessed he feels to have her. Adam began to ask questions about her.
Adam: Lord, Eve is beautiful. Why did you make her so beautiful?

God: So you will always want to look at her.

Adam: Lord, her skin is so soft. Why did you make her skin so soft?

God: So you will always want to touch her.

Adam: She always smells so good. Lord, why did you make her smell so good?

God: So you will always want to be near her.

Adam: That's wonderful Lord, and I don't want to seem ungrateful, but why did you make her so stupid?

God: So she would love you.
