Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Joke Thread
« on: January 19, 2004, 02:33 AM »
This is pretty racy.

One drunken night a guy wakes up in a drunken stupor, opening his eyes he sees Claudia Schiffer on the bed next to him. He thinks this is a little odd, as he doesn't remember a thing, let alone going to bed with her. He decides to get up and get himself a drink from the fridge. He gets to the fridge and opens the door and is faced with a large suitcase. He takes the suitcase out of the fridge, puts it on the table and opens it to find $1 Million. This is just a little too much for the guy who thinks he is losing his mind. He wonders if he is hallucinating, so he goes to the window and draws back the blind. Outside on his front lawn is the Klu Klux Klan and dangling from the tree is an open noose, empty. They appear to be beckoning him and shouting.
Now the guy is really freaked out, he quickly draws the blind and turns around.

In the corner of his kitchen is a leprechaun, obviously drunk as well.

He asks the leprechaun what is going on.

"Well," says the leprechaun, "I was drunk last night as well, and as I was crossing the road, I was nearly run down. You ran across the road and pushed me to safety, so I granted you three wishes in return for saving me."

"Well, I can guess the first one" says the guy, "Supermodel, bed, yeah I got that one. What about the other two?"

"The money in the fridge?" says the leprechaun, "You asked for a cool million."

"And them out there?" asks the guy,

"You said you wanted to be hung like a black man."

OK, I found this on another forum. It's fun!

What you do is type an advertising slogan, and put 'in your pants' behind it.

Like this:

McDonalds' I'm lovin' it...in my pants.

See? It's fun!!!

I'm not looking to go overboard on this line. I don't seem to remember characters like Sam Arrow or Lew Zealand. So I keep this line to characters I recognize.

I would like to get Animal and Beaker, and that Culinary Catastrophe set, but I simply don't have room for them, and the first two sets have pretty much disappeared around here. Meh. I'll decide later.

Have to pick up Gonzo and Pepe now. And find a Fozzie. :)

Until I finally wised up and bought some bookcases, I put figures on display wherever I could. Figures like ML or LOTR fell over all the damn time. Still do.

Good, I was hoping for a decent ESB Yoda. Hope this comes to be.

This is my kind of line to collect. I went to another Sam Goody, and found some older Muppets figures. I picked up Crazy Harry for $2.24, and Rowlf and Scooter for $4.49 each.

Then I ventured to TRU, and picked up Kermit and Piggy for $3.98 each.

It was a good day. :)

OK, here's his reply:

"Hi Ben,
The "Previews Exclusive Doppelgangland Willow" will have the regular
Willow face NOT the Vamped one.
 Thanks,
Mike"

That's better than an extra vamp Willow and $18 for the regular face.

And, i found this link for the Willow in question. I emailed the owner and asked if the Willow will be the one pictured, and not the vamp one. I'll let you know his response when I get it. Linky:

I ordered the IKON Buffy and Spike from them, and they arrived well-packed. They take a while to get here, as they're based in Florida, but no complaints here.

Yeah, it's getting to me. I was looking at them at Sam Goody tonight, and it sturck me that I should have been collecting this from series 1 and not screwing around with MOTU. Oh well.

Those playsets are damn expensive, and I wanted Beaker and Animal too. Plus, I've heard great things about that Culinary Catastrophe set. Oy, stupid toy addiction. But I have to say, if you're still reading this, this line is amazing in every sense of the word, and I own only one figure.

Hm. I found this store called Time and Space Toys, and they have an offer for all six upcoming Willows, including the non-vamp faced Doppelgangland Willow. No price is listed, but it's expected in stock April 2004. Tough choices.

I've taken my first step into a larger world. I picked up Rizzo tonight, and now I'm looking for the following:

Kermit (nekkid)
Fozzie
Rowlf
Crazy Harry
Gonzo
Miss Piggy
Pepe

A I hope that'll be it, be we all know how that goes. :D
