Yeah, they've been hanging it over our heads at work that if quality and #'s don't go up, our jobs'll be sent to China. Way to build morale.

Or maybe it's like Twilight Frodo, where Bilbo puts the Ring on to leave the party. Hell, I don't know.

I can only imagine how many Bilbos Toy Biz will crank out when The Hobbit flick hits the screens, provided they still have the license by then.

Oh well. I just wish they'd fix that Bilbo that comes in the TaBA set. It still doesn't look like really old Bilbo to me.

My mother basically begged me to buy the Sea Doo instead of a motorcycle. I was looking at a rice rocket at the time, but after hearing the fatality rate for first year owners was 25%, I bought the Sea Doo.

I enjoy it, but it's a pain to maintain. Once I finish school, I'm going to buy me a Baja. It's a boat, but not huge. You can take it home with you instead of having to dock it. Plus, it goes fast, due to jet drive--no outboard to put up with.

But, I'm wandering. Be careful with whatever you decide to buy. :)

I hate my job. I've been there for two years now, and every fricken week, it's some drama that causes me to work more than I should. It's second shift, but sometimes it goes over onto third shift or starts when first shift is still there. I took a foreman's position, and I'm still wondering why. The money isn't right for how much work I'm doing, and plus having to put up with people who simply do not want to work.

It's gotten to the point now that I've an interview scheduled tomorrow, and I might be working a newer albeit less stressful and less paying job. It means I'll have to seriously cut back on collecting, but it's a sacrifice that I'm now willing to make.

Red Clone: Now, for my next Michael Jackson impression...
White Clone: HELL NO! RUN BOY, RUN!!!!

Leave it to me to sink to that level of humor.

No, it's a 6", from MAC. Though at its price, you'd swear it was a 12" figure. :o

BTW, what the hell is a 'Bilbo Transfixed'? Is it from that scene in Rivendell where he gets all Gollum-y?

Yeah, it was nicer when the repaints were chases. But, between them and the new X-Men line having the only figures I wanted packed at 1 per case, and also never finding X2 series 2, I'm beginning to question why I'm bothering anymore. I'm thinking about just keeping my Marvel interest to the comics and movies now. I'll decide after Toy Fair and the undoubtedly bad news to come from that.

Damn, I hope Target decides to lower its prices back down to $5. If this continues in 2005, I'm going to be one broke geek. This year is looking bad enough. I'm already at $89 for the year, according to the thread in Watto's. Ooof.

Ick. Frickin' chase figures. Like I needed another reason to want to get out of this line.

Yeah. As soon as Willow is done, all will be good in HMIland.
