Dp, shame on you!   :P

 ;)

If I didn't do it, I'd like to think someone else would have.

You went fishing with Phil?

Cool! What is he like? Was he "neat"? I have three serious questions:

First, where is your hand?

Second, what are you using for bait?

And third, did Greg(g) take the picture?

Matt, is that your pink sweater , or have you started a fashion trend out there in California?

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: My Halloween Rant
« on: October 27, 2004, 07:13 AM »
I turned on Halloween the year I had to buy candy to supply trick-or-treaters, who mostly turn out to be teenagers too old to do it. And I hate teenagers, so Halloween can suck it from that perspective.
I want to get a picture up sometime too, it's a good laugh.

Make sure whoever takes it isn't standing too close if they're using a flash on the camera. The strobe can wash out colors and your red costume might look a little... pink. ;) Better pack a sweater too, just in case it's cold out. Those costumes don't have a lot of insulation to them.  :-*

Revenge of the Sith / Re: The Mustafar Playset...
« on: October 24, 2004, 03:12 PM »
I really want to love the Mustafar playset, and I want my kids to love it as well.

I passed on the Arena playset too - which by "modern" standards qualifies as "huge"... I've only regretted it once, for a moment, then I moved on.

It even came down in price at the end of it's shelf time, but it just never interested me the way vintage stuff like the Death Star, Droid Factory, Ewok Village or even Vader's Star Destroyer did. My kids get a bigger kick out of our vintage Dagobah than they would the Arena...

So here's to hoping Mustafar doesn't suck with stupid flip tricks, cheap plastic (EP I Naboo playsets) and piece of **** add on "Deluxe" sets that add little play value and should have been incorporated into a single set in the first place.

End rant.

Oh, so you did notice...   :-[

Want 'em back?  I'm not terribly attached to the pair I've got, though I think Jared's been wearing the other pair quite frequently.  But I'm sure he could run 'em through the washer once or twice for ya'...

LMK.

Uh, pass. I imagine they're fairly dingy from being washed in a mixed load with your colors **cough** pink sweater **cough** and that they've probably acquired a few permanent skid marks from your last "Havana Omelet".

Jared probably took good care of his pair. I'd take those back, but he can keep the Star Case he displays them in beside his dias.

Well, then I guess now's a good time to tell you Deanpaul - that Jared and I "lifted" a few items out of your backpack when we were hanging out at 3rd Street Promenade with you several months ago...

Doesn't look like you ever noticed though, so it shouldn't be too big a deal, right?  :-*

Went to California with 5 pair of underwear, returned to Utah with 3. This explains everyting.

Well, I guess we all know who we need to watch a little more carefully when they come over to our homes now...  :-*

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: The Scum continues it's downward spiral
« on: October 21, 2004, 12:07 AM »
I just went over to the 'scum forums for the first time in a while...what a **** hole that place has turned into! One guy (the infamous General Windu) is bitching about the Dannik Jeriko figure and cursing out Hasbro over and over. what the hell is wrong with the Dannik figure? The worst thing is that he's not the exception over there.

Then you've got Gregg and his jackass useless comments every few posts. How long will it be until he is the only person posting on those forums?

Glad to have the JD forums.  8)

This link takes you to a page that illustrates the futility of trying to follow/contribute at RS.

I found the part where other people snipe your letters while you work the most amusing. I quickly turned to the dark side of taking other peoples letters because it was sooooo much more fun. Actually laughed out loud while doing it for about 15 minutes, then left.

Just like RS. ;)

TV stars set up ACTION HEROES INC.

... and spay Molly Ringwald while you're at it. From teh same article:

"Windmill Entertainment is the company behind ACTIONHEROES INC.. They firm is also partnering with VH1 to make a four-hour mini-series about the rise and fall of the 1980s "brat pack" group of actors: Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Charlie Sheen and Demi Moore. The name of the project? BRAT PACK CONFIDENTIAL, of course."
