Where's the stripes on the clone locker? Mock-up package?

Don't the stripeless lockers indicate that the weapons within aren't painted?  Ie, no wooden looking stock on the rifle, etc?  The all black weapons are the ones pictured on RS, which aligns with the non-striped lockers.

I'm pretty happy about the Clean-Black Sandy.  He'll go well with the Clean stormies I picked up earlier this year.  I'm also excited they are keeping the tridroid for a while longer.  Its just a monster figure, even if its a bit bendy.  Its good to fill in the ranks of my Seps a bit.

When are they going to aim the Clone Lockers at OT weapons?  I'm sure its been suggested before, but OT figs need some equipment as well....  The variety of different weapons we see stormies carrying alone would be enough to fill the locker.  There is the E-11, the BFG that some of the Sandies had this past year, there is the long rifle that I think Han ends up carrying in the DS, of course there is small blaster that the Scout Troopers carry, and there is the so called Rebel Blaster, which seems to be standard equipment for the Death Star Troopers.  Hasbro could be nice and sculpt a rocket launcher or something....

My brother gave me a WM giftcard for my Bday, I got UPS today that had the Candy Cane Stormie pack from TFU.  I'm expecting the Vader and Black droid BAD pack, though why they shipped it separate...

I like the nod to the TIE Bomber with the two pods (although they look asymmetrical).  I'm pretty excited how LEGO is fleshing out the armies of the Republic(AT-TE, AT-AP, Fighter Tank) and CIS (Homing Spider droid, IG Tank, Snail Tank, Hyena Bomber).

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Cartoon Watchers?
« on: November 24, 2008, 02:31 PM »
Yeah, I'm in the non-cable crowd.  I've got a two year old (and six month old), so we watch some cartoons.  In particular the 2 yr old likes the Disney series of DVDs that has the classic Disney shorts with Donald, Chip, Dale, Mickey, etc.  I've never been huge any TV cartoon series, though I watched them when I could.

Our digital receiver gets a signal from the local CW affiliate, but my brother doesn't get any channels on his digital receiver, though I think that's because of where his apartment is (behind a hill from the transmission towers...)

I thought the cannon armed SBD was great.  And frankly all they'd need to do is tool the arm, the rest would be the same as the normal sculpt.  Always great to get some variety.

Great minds think alike.  And so do you!

Does this mean I no longer have a zero approval rating? :)

The Legacy Collection / Re: TRU Exclusive Battlefront 2 Multipacks
« on: November 20, 2008, 01:02 PM »
I stopped at a TRU on my lunch and they didn't have these sets.  I had a coupon for 15% off any 1 item, but when I did the math all the prices came out to be WalMart's prices and since nothing screamed "buy me", I gave the coupon to someone looking at a big lego kit.

I think if these sets were $30 they would sell, at $40 they'll keep the Lars Homestead sets company.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Who's your favorite band?

My favorite is Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble.  Sure he's a bit too early for me to have been a fan, I was 9 when he died, but you just can't beat his technique.  I like In Step because of the maturity his sound has, and even though its very polished, you can still feel the amazing depth and strength behind it, but you just can't beat the raw power and blinding speed in Texas Flood.

I can't figure out how to link it, but there is a pic from the LA Auto show of a Honda concept called the FC Sport, MSN has a slide show of concept cars, its the 6th image.  Can anyone link it.  Anyway, it looks like the Helmet to a phase two clone trooper, head on.

Here in Albany, NY its 29 and we've got flurries.  I guess there was some places that got some flurries yesterday, but I didn't notice any flakes.  Its been really clear the last couple nights, and I even saw a shooting star on monday morning (is it time for the Persieds?, or is it Leonids?)
