I would have LOVED to see a Turbo laser turret in this set.  And back in the day Master Replicas made one with their Y-Wing prop, using it as a stand.  But the tooling expense of that added on to this X-Wing, TIE & the three figures would have drive the price of this set up to something like $129.99 AT LEAST.   

As it stands now this set is probably going to be doomed to failure because of that high price point.  I know that a big box like this is going to have to be at a certain price point in order to justify the ammount of shelf space that the package occupies.  The new AT-AT is a fantastic new vehicle with a similar pricepoint, and it's still readily available.  So Hasbro decides to offer a modified X-Wing and other items at that high of a pricepoint?  Can we say "poor decision"?

Rob, I get that.  It is a TEASER trailer, after all.  If this movie is still a year out, it still has a lot of refining to go through.  I would not be surprised if they were still in principle photoraphy, if not pickup shoots.  And I doubt the POV wallcrawling is going to make it into the film.  This teaser seems like it is very likely something the studio was pushing for SPECIFICALLY for the week of Comic Con.  It's not a coincidence that it was released today.

As for story?  We have to wait for the movie to figure out if this is going to be any good.  Stylistically the director seems to be trying to make a break from what Sam Raimi did.  From a lighting and story perspective they already seem to be trying to make Peter Parker much more of an angst-ridden kid:  orphan, raised by his Aunt & Uncle, isolated in school, etc.  The Raimi trilogy tried to touch on that but also tried to bring in some of the humor that was part of the Spiderman story.  That was a good part of the charm of that series, along with the Bruce Campbell cameos.  Will this re-boot work?  We have to see the movie to make that determination.

I think the Tauntaun priced out at $16.99, so it's not such a bitter pill to swallow.  As long as this one is specific to Luke, and the battle pack version is specific to Han, I'm fine with this.

I finally took the plunge on some Cap figures today.  I'm sticking to the movie figures only, and got the Super Combat Cap, Red Skull and the Deluxe Hydra soldier.  In an ideal world I would LOVE to get a Dum-Dum Dugan figure, but seeing how the Thor figure line has had so many troubles, I don't really expect to see a figure of Dum-Dum any time soon.
