Speaking of interlocking bases, some of these ROTS bases seem to interlock but in a non-sense fashion.  The royal guard bases can be connected to form like a square "bigger" base.  And the AT-TE gunner bases and be connected to make a really long line.  I don't see the point but the fit together quite well.

Maybe this is the "hint" of things to come.

Walmart started to put some stuff on clearance and the first was those battle arena things.  They had about 5 of each, well only 3 of Obi-Wan and Guard, and they were marked down to 13.

If they go down to single digit price then I'll get some.

I got all four sets from EE a few weeks ago.  They are ok but they are overpriced.  I think it is about $36 a set or all four for $120.  I think EE will get more in September.  You can order them now and get them when they are released.  I ordered mine in May and got them a few weeks ago.


My guess is that he bought them at EE

Today at two of my local Targets I found the Target exclusive clones on clearance at 50% off.  Both Targets had 6 clones each and they were case fresh.  They had the first knob on the star case, the one that looks like a lollypop not the star one.  They all had 6.48 stickers and that was what they rang.  I got one at one Target but 2 more when I saw them again.  Originally I thought it was a scalper return but at 2 stores is unlikely.

Wow, I didn't even know they were coming out.  I found 4 Obi-Wan pilots, lots of Evo Ani and 500th Vader at Target.

Another Target had Unleashed Vader, Ventress and Emperor/Yoda. 

Walmart had that code 3 die cast Millennium Falcon marked down to 125 from 250, they had about 18 of them.  I think I will wait until it is 50.

Target had it going on again today.  Many Bacarras, R2s and Crisp Anis.  Many regular #6, #41 and commanders.  I rather find the paint variation but I didn't get my panties in a bunch.  They had battlepacks for 25, ouch, 500th vader, plenty of wookie copters and even a few clone 3-packs, just the whites.

That is sad but I could not bring myself to paying $33 for 4 figures, it is just too much, especially in a movie year.  I already took the big hurt ordering some overpriced clone 4-packs and even though they spiced up my diorama, I still feel cheated and raped. :-X
