IIRC the CIII Vader sold from $50 to $75 right after CIII.

Nowadays they run about $15 - right about what they cost at the event.

Don't overpay for these now.  Be patient.  They'll either show up in stores, or they'll get much much cheaper on eBay.

It may have been answered before, but I've got a quick question.  I'm pretty good at telling the difference between real and repro weapons, but how do you tell the difference between a 1977 Luke and a 1997 Commemorative Luke?  (or the other 3 figures for that matter).

I'm looking at this auction for a Luke - Auction

But at 12$ BIN for one that looks like it's in good shape, my radar is going off that says this is fishy.

How do I buy a nice white 1977 Luke without getting hosed on the 1997 re-do?

My impression was that both versions are stamped 1977?

They realized they sell the same amount of gas at $3.25 per gallon that they did at $1.05 per gallon. 

So of course it's going to stay expensive.

Finally found some wave 2 this weekend.  I'm up to 4 Yavin Guards and 3 DST's and picked up another concept Stormtrooper. 

Still not a hint of a McFett anywhere though.

I found an entire end cap jammed with these last night for $4.98.  I just decided to try to get a price adjustment on the ones I already bought and get my $30 back.  With the Honor Guard, Death Star Trooper, and Snowtrooper out right now, there are far superior uses for my cash than to army build more clones that weren't in the movies.

The 6 cylinder addiction is breaking though - that's a start.

I was going to buy a dewback from him, but he decided to keep it and there was an Interceptor, but the stickers were peeling up.  He's also got another pile of stuff he's going to bring in sometime that may or may not include an Ewok Village and some other good stuff.

After a long hiatus, some vintage stuff fell into my lap this week.  A co-worker's parents found his childhood toys and he brought them in to work to sell.  I bought a pair of biker scouts, a pair of jawas, a pair of AT-ST drivers, a Jedi Knight Luke with perfect (and I mean perfect) paint to replace my nose-dinged one... Weapons for all of these, then I bought Echo Base, as well as the probe droid and turret from the other hoth set, a Y-Wing (complete and in great shape) and a Cloud car missing one of the canopies.   I also picked up a few extra weapons to replace one or two that I think might have been repro in my set like a blue saber for Jedi Luke and I also bought an extra Barada/Yak staff with the idea that I'll be in the market for Yak Face sometime later this year.

So I'm looking for a cloud car canopy if anyone has a spare. :)
