I'm just glad that I will now have a reason to be interested in the NBA Playoffs.  Welcome back, Dwyane.

So your interest in the NBA, and consequently your interest in the Heat, revolves around your man-crush on a single player?

Fair-weather fan?

Ichiro is very good for BA, R, and R.  Or so he usually is.  Last year he was real solid as far as fantasy value goes.

I tried to draft a few guys who could steal bases since I was weak in that last year, and I tried to get guys who could score runs and hit.  Evidently I should have solely gone after .200 hitting sluggers.   ::)

Either way, however bad my draft was, this goes beyond that.  Guys who are usually solid are doing pretty much crap here in April.  Zambrano has sucked, so has Webb.  half my players have barely played.  Giambi is hitting like a girl... so is Delgado and arguably Wright too (hit streak be damned).

If they don't get hot soon, I'm looking at a long long season at the bottom of the barrel.

Thanks giving Jabba the Hutt.

It's edible too.

Ichiro had been cold, so I started Matthews.  Matthews' game was PPD so I tried to start Ichiro.  But the game slot was already locked.

Then Ichiro goes 4/5 with 4 Runs, a HR, 2 RB, and a SB.

I know my team sucks, but I can't catch a break...

EDIT:  Just saw that practically everyone on my team had their game postponed today.

Ortiz, Paul Lo Duca, David Wright, Matthews Jr., Tejada, Brian Roberts, and Tom Gordon all were supposed to play today and didn't.

Sheesh.

Oh and Rob..I see this being just like the Arms Race for VOTC Stormtroopers..the D/FW area is going to have the largest single concentration of these figures in the GALAXY.

Hopefully the distribution is similar to the last time around.  Stormtroopers were no problem at all to find around here.

I never get worked up over a Naboo wave - but if they focused on Pod Racers, Mos Espa denizens, Senators, and maybe threw in one of the Gungans who was sitting around with Nass, and a new outfit for Amidala, I'd be pretty happy.

The website says June - and I hope it's right.  With 3 busts coming out at C-IV, and two busts scheduled for a May release, there's too much to buy as it is right now.

I still think there is more going on there,

I think Juliet's playing both sides.  She wants off the island and if it entails double crossing Ben, then so be it.

Yeah, that they confirmed our suspicions so easily seems like a near guarantee that she goes against Ben in the end.

I reset my router after I posted and it seems to have fixed it.  It's weird though, because it was only certain sites.  Hotmail, and Yahoo mainly.

The only real problem it caused was missing out on plugging Davis into PG, sitting Terry, and finding a bench player to use the UTL game for.

Oh well.

Thanks though.

Has anyone else been having trouble getting into Yahoo's fantasy sports pages?

I've barely been able to get it to load in 2 days - and since it was blocked at work, I've been at a disadvantage when it comes to setting rosters on the fly.  I heard today that Terry wasn't going to play tonight but have been completely unable to get into Yahoo to see if I could plug someone else in at PG.

?

The site has been closed down with a little front-page tribute in its place...

http://www.kurtvonnegut.com/

I hope they open it up at some point, this just inspired me to add to my small collection of his art work.  (I got a signed print of his Good Bye Blue Monday bomb) for Christmas this year...)

I managed to secure a AFX Clone bust this week.  THj on Rebelscum was canceling his order and I managed to get in touch with him fast enough to have him just change the mailing address to mine.  So I'll get it for cost.

Whoo hoo.

Sorry Scott, didn't see that and just ran to the celebrity death thread.  I'm glad there's a separate topic for the guy.  Even though it isn't worth much - he earned it.
