There should be rules in regards to the coaching staff and their attire.  Remember the good ol' days when coaches wore suits and ties?

I know.  Guys like Landry and Lombardi looked like men back in the day with the suits and ties.  Now there are actually NFL rules saying that coaches can only wear suits or something like that 2 times a season.  The rest of the season these guys have to wear team attire.  WTF kind of rule is that?

And Kraft should say SOMETHING to Bellichick.  He dresses like a shlub on the sidelines.  Not like the head coach of one of the best teams in professional football.

Hasbro stated in an earlier Q&A that they would like to revisit the Snowspeeder at some point in time.  But the answer was rather vague.

What is up with Hasbro and not giving some figures knee articulation?

I think it's been pretty common in the comic 2-packs.  Especially considering the price point.  In the case of Durge, I don't think this sculpt lends itself well to knee articulation.  There might be some on Durge, but it isn't totally clear.  But the Anakin has knee articulation, which is definitely a positive.  And it looks like a new sculpt.  At least the head does.

I still remember Bellichick as the defensive coordinator under Bill Parcells.  He made a name for himself within the league with the Giants.  And to walk off the field when there was still that 1 or 2 seconds to tick off of the clock was pretty classless.  Especially against the team that got him to where he is today within the NFL.

I'm just a wee bit bitter, but the Giants played their asses off tonight and deserved to win.  Congrats to them.

I still am sitting here in disbelief over that last drive...they almost intercepted 3 passes and had him dead to rights on the play where he twisted out of the sack...amazing

Hey, I still remember the Minnesota game and how horrendous that was.  So to turn things around from that game to this....it's just phenomenal!  I think the hard times and losses this season really made this Super Bowl that much better.

And that's definitely not meant to rain on the parade of the Pats.  What they did this season was unbelievable.  I think 6 of those wins were questionable since the AFC East was so weak this year, but that's just picking.  They had a tough schedule and beat some tough teams.  And they played a tough game tonight.

WOW.  Just wow.  I remember the 1991 Super Bowl so vividly, and I think this Super Bowl was sweeter.  The Giants had to work their asses off learning the new defense after starting 0-2, and this was just beautiful.  And to upset the Patriots possible undefeated season?  My head is still buzzing.  I almost want to play hookie from work on Tuesday to go to the parade.

One of the best things in the game?  David Tyree getting involved in some major plays.  That guy has been working his ass off, trying to stay on the team.  He's become a great special teams player, and to see him make some big plays at WR was fantastic!  That one catch where he bent backwards was just awesome.

And the defense?  These guys could give the Giants of the 80's a run for their money.  The pass rush has been phenomenal all year long.  Strahan has been great over the course of his career.  And to have Osi Umenyiora putting up some serious pressure on the other end of the line has been great.  And then to have Justin Tuck really coming up in a big way this season and especially during the playoffs, it's been awesome.

I'm pretty excited to see some confirmation on these sets. It will be nice to get a few new Padme outfits all at once.

I'm looking forward to adding the figures to my collection.  But realistically, how are these going to sell?  I saw that fireside Padme on a lot of wishlists for a long time, and they're already pegwarming in a serious way.  Maybe if these Padme's are more action oriented (unlike fireside Padme), and they don't ship in high quantities, we'll be okay.  But I saw A LOT of fireside Padmes at a number of stores the past few days.  That certainly doesn't serve as a strong indicator of widespread love for Padme.

I believe that both EE and BBTS have the AT-AP and Grievous's fighter listed for a February release.

Add the Hawkbat Battalion Clone to the mix, too because that's a Clone Wars figure as well.  I think that all of these Clone Wars figures are a likely indication that we're getting real-world style figures, and not something stylized.

Y'know, after 12 years of buying Hasbro product, I would hope to be able to figure out their logic when relaseing toys.  I saw all 3 re-released Evolutions sets tonight in 3 differnt stores.  Now, I own the original releases, and I don't buy packaging changes, so there was nothing new for me to buy.  Now, if they had put out the Jedi, Mando and Sith set, I would have spent close to 75 bucks.

The issue here is that I think these sets are going to shelfwarm because most of us have these, and the new ones, the ones that we WANT, are going to be tough to find...I just don't get it.  How does this benefit Hasbro?

Actually, I had a good conversation with one of the Hasbro folks on a very similar topic at one of the shows they were at.  And it was regarding the 2002 Action Fleet offerings.

If you're familiar with that line, the Action Fleet line had been cancelled for a year or so following the EPISODE I line.  Hasbro was looking to re-launch if for the EPISODE II line.  But the problem was that they didn't have the new ship/vehicle sculpts ready in time for the retail resets for the EPISODE II line.  But, Hasbro really wanted to get the line out there, so they decided to produce some of the more iconic vehicles in the Action Fleet line.  Why?  Mainly, to hold the space in the retail planogram until they could get the new ships produced and shipped.

Long story short, that plan backfired, and the core Action Fleet collectors left the X-Wings, Falcons and Vader TIE's behind.  They were out for the new vehicles.  But that backstock of the first wave, which were all reissues helped to put the last nail in the coffin of Action Fleet.

Now strategically, it seems like Hasbro is doing the same thing here.  I'm under the impression that the first new sets of Evolutions figures were not ready to ship in time for the new retail planograms.  And if you've been to a store in the past few weeks, you'll notice that almost all of the retailers have done a post holiday reset.  And that reset locks down which items/assortments go where on the shelves and pegs.  It seems pretty clear that Hasbro might be trying to reserve the space for Evolutions by using the existing molds they had so that product could be on shelf for those resets.

So how could things be different with this situation?  The 3.75" figure system is a much better seller than Action Fleet ever was.  It's got a 30 year history and a much broader fan base.  Plus you do have some potential clientele here:  the package variant collectors;  the completists; people who missed these the first time around; army builders (for the Clone set); and people who weren't in the hobby in 2005.  I think these Evolutions sets will sell through, albeit slowly.  I think based on the fact that we're seeing images of loose figures from Asia, the new sets will probably be in stores within a month or so.

I've seen all three sets so far at TRU, Target & WalMart.  The Anakin set has seen the least shelf time out of the three, but it's catching up with the Sith and Clone sets.  It's also surprising that we're getting the grey/white Clone>Sandtrooper set and not the yellow/orange set we were told about in the Q&A's.  But whatever.  I'm not buying the reissue sets.

I bought a fairly nice Kenneth Cole black, leather bifold wallet.  It's pretty good for carrying my cards and ID, which is about all I have in there.  And doing that keeps it on the slim side, so I don't wind up with George Costanza syndrome.  I keep my cash in a stainless steel money clip.

41 out of 43.  I gave up with 4 minutes left.  And I cannot believe I forgot Grant.  I've been to the man's tomb, for pete's sake!  The only other one I forgot was Van Buren.
